Still glad to be seeing more or our couple - they are such a breath of fresh air "together" - think most of us are concerned about whether Peter will be re-signed or not - would be a killer for the show if not & I won't be watching anymore anyway (same as if it were Kristian - Bo & Hope ARE the show to me personally), but if things do go well I'll be hoping for more therapy for them - still VERY MUCH needed to get them FULLY back to normal! Y'all all have a good one - hope to be seeing more comments about them - always interesting to read everyone's POV! After all the Bope fans have endured it is the least they can do to keep Bo and Hope on the show and give them more story lines. Things do seem to be improving with team Bope. I so missed posting on this thread when unable to locate it for awhile. Thanks to all the bope fans for keeping it going . "chucky", I'm so thankful you and you family are okay! That had to be so terrifying! I know you do feel blessed! So distressed about Peter leaving the show! Can truthfully say I haven't enjoyed the show as in the "quality" years (and how unfortunate it is the writers wasted them so much the last several years - makes me sick to my stomach having them right there, available, only to be used as good-looking window dressing especially after we endured so much front-burner heartache during his nasty affair we never REALLY got satisfaction from)! My enthusiasm had definitely dwindled because of this but I still watched simply because they were on & considered "together" - even with half-hearted scripts - but I definitely WON'T be watching when he leaves (would be the same if it were Kristian) because Bope ARE DAYS to me. I doubt seriously if the show can survive this hit very long anyway with the life support they've been on for the last few years, so we'll ALL be missing them & the show before long. May have been a power struggle going on - understand he was being asked to take a 45% salary cut and had just taken one last time - but tptb made a bad call here IF that's their choice imo!! I'll be relegated totally to YouTube for the great memories (and where the REAL Bope are) and will miss my websites, too. That they do. Hope all the BOPE Fans are doing well and enjoying the summer. Earlier on when the show had solid ratings that worked okay (not the best even then), but that replacement was mostly paired with Billie anyway. With the amazing, unmatched, natural chemistry between Peter & Kristian that has established solidly over these many wonderful years, it would be nearly impossible for that to work now (not to mention the dreadful ratings they've had in recent years - the show hanging on for dear life)! Losing Peter at this time is devastating - no question about it!! |

I keep seeing that on twitter and on other websites and wondered where exactly and why but he does have a young child so maybe he doesn't want them to grow up in LA. Yes, I did "like" the therapy session on Fri. (the last one being in Jan. - a LONG time coming), but it seems all packed in & hurried through in one day which is what they seem to do with Bope in recent years!! The last 2 writing teams just don't capture the true characters of these two amazing talents - the emotion, passion, etc. - just not what they always were and still could be with proper writing/direction! Liked it okay considering the devastation they put them/us through a year or so ago but could be a WHOLE lot more heartfelt & exciting as the REAL Bope would've been imo! As for WHY Peter is leaving (his choice to move, etc.) - don't know! Heard similar, too, but also heard about the cutting his salary in half! Guess we'll be hearing a definite announcement before long - real sad for us & DAYS! |
