It's been quite a while since viewers saw Louise Sorel (ex-Vivian) in Salem, but they now have the chance to catch the veteran actress in person. Sorel is part of the ensemble cast for "I Remember Mama." She joins nine other actresses to take on 23 roles in The Transport Group's revival of the classic John Van Druten play. The drama looks at the Hanson family, Norwegian immigrants living in San Francisco in the 1910s. Under the direction of Jack Cummings III, "this bold reinterpretation of Van Druten's simple and honest story reveals how even the smallest and seemingly insignificant experiences of family life can silently accumulate and take our breath away."
Sorel will be sharing the stage with Barbara Andres ("Law & Order"), Barbara Barrie ("Suddenly Susan"), Alice Cannon ("Morris County"), Lynn Cohen ("The Hunger Games: Catching Fire"), Rita Gardner ("30 Rock"), Susan Lehman ("The Flying Scissors"), Heather MacRae ("Clarissa Explains It All"), Phyllis Somerville ("The Big C"), and Dale Soules ("Unforgettable"). Performances will be held in The Gym at Judson, located at 243 Thompson Street at West 4th Street in New York City and will run until April 20. Visit I Remember Mama for tickets and more information.
