Bevery Todd, a Chicago native, actress, writer and producer, was a stage actress before she came to television. She played in the 1960 stage play, "Deep Are the Roots" and in the Diahann Carroll role in the London cast of the 1964 musical "No Strings." One of her earliest jobs was portraying Monica Nelson in an older CBS soap operas, "Love Of Life." Since then, Todd has been seen in various television series and films. Some highlights include "Baby Boom," with Diane Keaton, "Lean on Me," with Morgan Freeman, amongst countless others. In more recent years, she spent time in recurring roles such as "Six Feet Under," the HBO dark comedy. She was Virginia in "The Bucket List," with Jack Nicholson and once again with Morgan Freeman. She comes to "Days of our Lives" as a recast for Tanya Boyd, portraying Celeste Perrault.
