I can watch honestly I loved Larry and JR so much its still too soon for me but I will watch it later. I had the chance to meet Mr. Hagman in Dallas heyday and the way he called a woman "darling" would make a women gitty, lol. I did see the opening credit and it was beautifully done.

The slow beginning was classic...I felt so bad for John Ross...the actor played his character beautifully! So sad to see JR go...there will never be a more revered villian on Primetime Soaps!
I am VERY curious as to what Bobby's letter had to say...perhaps confirmation of who actually is the killer??
I too think something is up w/JR looking for Christopher's mom...this definitely has something to do w/his "masterpiece"...
I am totally thrown by Emma...does anyone know what John Ross called her after she took a swig of his liquor? I think he called her a "liar"...not sure why though...but I think its really strange that she threw herself at him like that. Does anyone wonder if her whole living w/Anne and her needing to be w/her mom might be a set-up??
Anyway, can't wait for next week! Love this show

This episode was amazing. I too as others have stated, loved the way it came on with JR walking and the shots of the Ranch. Very nicely done. And I cried when Sue Ellen was talking and reading his letter, and stating he was the love of her life. You could tell that the tears were real also. You know he had to be close especially with those he worked with for so long, Bobby and Sue Ellen and even to watch John Ross the tears were very real. I don't believe that they had to "act" sad about his departure. I think that came very naturally.
As far as the ending- that was also amazing. I think he was looking for Pam to hopefully find dirt and hold something over Cliff Barnes and Harris Ryland. I am very interested to see how this plays out.
JR will be missed and was a special person who totally made Dallas -but it seems they have some awesome writers in place that come up with the story lines. So I'm sure it will still be fun to watch in the future as well!
RIP Larry Hagman! You will truly be missed!

Men are we going to miss JR,Dallas won't be the same without him.
Poor Sue Ellen she did really love JR.
They should have start the new Dallas way sooner,so we could have seen more of good old JR.
Wonder if we are going to see Pam again.
I think that Rylands mother could be behind the murder of JR.
Hope Johan Ross will go on were JR left off.
Love Dallas, best soap on the air right now

    Canastia,

This is a bit late, but I thought John Ross said "are you high?" because he caught her earlier taking pills.
