Dallas Episode Two: Classic One Liners.

    Friday, June 22 2012

    JR. (Soaps.com)
    JR does it again!

In the second episode of the season, Hedging Your Bets.

JR informs his son, "Son, never pass up a good chance to shut up."

JR is rightly complimented as being a legend and says, "Mostly in my own mind, darlin’."

JR was introduced to the real Marta and says, "I’m going to have to introduce you to my son, John Ross. He’s a chip off the old block."

JR gets all the best lines! I know my family watched the original each Friday night and I'm pretty sure there was popcorn involved, but I only recall bits and pieces of a few of the key players. These lines of JR remind me of the show when I barely recall anything else! How about yourself?

Loved this episode as well...lots of twists and turns ! If the writing stays this good throughout this 'nuDallas', it will be very successful Episode 3 was great this past week as well. Talk about great lines, when the doc told Bobby the new cancer drug would cause some side affects, he did'nt hesitate a second to say "but no hair loss, right ?" with a sly smile, 'cuz Duffy is still rockin' a great head of hair !!
