    "We're always freaking out."

Soaps.com's Deanna Barnert caught up with "General Hospital's" Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning) over the weekend on the Daytime Emmy red carpet. The actress and her mother started the day by dropping off her brother Eddie Alderson (ex-Matthew, "OLTL") for rehearsal - since he was an Emmy presenter. From there, they got pampered at a local hair salon and enjoyed a massage. "It was a very relaxing day," Alderson stated. Once the pampering was done there was no time to waste. "Then you had to get ready right away. As soon as we got home from the hair salon, it was get your make-up on and get out the door."

Deanna talked about how her brother admitted he was avoiding them that day. "I think that he… my mom and I are definitely girls when we get ready. We're always freaking out, so he stays out of our bathroom." Though Alderson was rooting for her brother to win in the Supporting Younger Actor category, "Days Of Our Lives'" Chandler Massey (Will) took home the honors.

As they wrapped up their red carpet interview, the actress looked into the camera and said, "I'm Kristen Alderson, and thank you for visiting Soaps.com!"
