    How things work...

If an actor wants to put her or himself up for a Daytime Emmy nom, they first must decide to which category they belong. Afterward, each show puts all the names into a pool and they decide internally who will be chosen for the nominations.

There is no criterion set as to how often an actor has worked in order to put up their name for an Emmy.

Are you happy with the pre-nominations? Vote in our poll!
