In regards to the clips usually shown prior to the winner in each category being announced, Associated Television International's, Jim Romanovich tweeted, "There will be no nominees clips shown. Sorry. You have to ask yourself why this show died three years ago. Clips never did actors justice."
In other Emmy news, Executive Producer David McKenzie told TV Guide that though they plan to do something special to let the fans know how sadden everyone is about the cancellations of "All My Children" and "One Life To Live," they are not planning any big farewells this year, considering both soaps will still be eligible to be a part of next year's Emmys for their 2011 storylines.

Good news fans, the Daytime Emmys will be televised live on CBS from 8.00 PM to 10.00 PM EST. on Sunday June 19 from the Las Vegas Hilton. Information regarding tickets will be announced at a later date.

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will return for another year and will take place on June 19. Not only will we get to see the Emmys earlier this year, if they air on television, they'll include a new category for web series titled Special Class Short Format Program.
