Just this week, Soaps.com brought you some 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Nominations News, and even though it hasn't been decided if the show will air or not, there's been some new rules implemented for 2010!
The award for Drama Series will be credited to the show as a whole, which includes its Executive Producers, Supervising Producers, Senior Producers, Producers, Coordinating Producers, Line Producers and Consulting Producers, for a minimum of 19% of the shows' original episodes. While all of the one-hour shows will account for one episode, there will be two allowed for The Bold and the Beautiful's half-hour drama.
For all of the individual acting categories, which any eligible performer is allowed to enter, for an unlimited number of scenes per episode, the preliminary pre-screen ballot for each category will be dispensed to registered, eligible peer voters only, who will only vote for two performers per show, per category. Those who receive the most votes will move on to a single Blue Ribbon round of judging.
In regards to the technical awards, as with the Drama Series Award, one show will be submitted for judging and will be based on credited work of 40% of the episodes, but for the writing and directing aspect, the requirement will be credited on only 19%.
As always, Soaps.com will keep our readers up to date on any new developing details for this year's awards! For now, let's take a look back to see who made last year's 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Pre-Nominations list.
