Soaps.com's exclusive: NBC's Days of our Lives cast a few upcoming parts for spring. These parts are often for a single episode or two, though some may be recurring roles. The listed air dates may be off due to past pre-empts of the show, or because scenes were cut.
Dahlia Salem posted a video on Vimeo of an audition scene on Days of our Lives. It appears as though she is drinking at a bar in a scene with Eric who has been dumped by his girlfriend and the two are commiserating as her boyfriend got his side piece pregnant. Some may remember Salem as Sofia Carlino on Another World, the role she played from 1995 - 1998, or Claire Walsh on General Hospital in 2011.
Asher Morrissette booked a recurring role on Days Of Our Lives. There is no word which role the little tyke will take as of yet. From his official Twitter page: @AsherMOfficial "Well I really can't say yet but apparently they can ️ #likesandsthroughthehourglass #itsasecret #sortof #saynomore"
Americus Abesamis will be seen on Days on Monday March 26 as the Hotel Security Chief in Hong Kong.
Philip Anthony-Rodriguez will be seen as Miguel on Days of our Lives starting March 28. The actor has been seen in Grimm, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
James Eckhouse returns to Days as Judge Simms, who will be presiding over Gabi Hernandez in court as she is tried for Andre DiMera's murder though she is innocent. Eckhouse played the same role in 2013 when he presided over Sami Brady's (Alison Sweeney) trial for the murder of crooked cop, Detective Joseph Bernardi, who Sami killed after Stefano ordered Bernardi to cut Rafe's penis off.

Soaps.com exclusively brings you The Young and the Restless day players casting news for April and beyond. The roles below may be recurring or for one episode only. Air dates may change due to past show pre-emptions or if scenes were cut out.
Alyssa London, Miss Alaska USA 2017, was the mystery woman seen in Victor's room on Friday April 6th's episode, JT turns off Victor's life support. It turns out the actress was hired for her hair, which could mean we don't see her face, but that she was a stand-in for some other surprise guest on Y&R!
A few weeks ago my hair took me places 🤣 thanks Mom and Dad for the genes 🤷🏻♀️ I think Mom would say that the hair comes from my Tlingit-ness and less from the Norwegians... I don’t know, you tell me haha but anywayssss I submitted for a role on @youngandrestlesscbs and then I got the audition. Then I rocked the audition (presumably since they picked me), and then they hired me to play “Mystery Woman” for two days. I can announce this today since I got their permission and it airs tomorrow on @cbsdaytime . Soooo if you happen to want to watch me as a “featured extra” on a daytime show, I’ll be there... or as you can see from the last picture, my hair will be haha. Jokes aside, I’m super proud I got selected for this experience. I’ll always remember that extremely excited feeling I had waking up early in West Hollywood to get my workout in and a nice healthy breakfast and then drive over early to CBS studios in their Television City. I thought it was so cool that the security gate had my name on the list and I was given a pass with my name on it with the show I was on, and then I got to waltz right into the studios past the whole line of people waiting to get to go into the #thepriceisright studio for live filming, and then be back stage of where they were filming that and other shows. I was finally “behind the curtain” and it felt amazing! Then I got to be in hair and makeup with the rest of the cast and chat with everyone and then watch on the live screen as they moved along filming throughout the script I held in my hand. It was surreal and super cool. The video shows how groovy I was feeling 🕺🏼Plus this was my first time being on Film/TV in an actress role ever. So, I’ll never forget it and am grateful for the experience and to my hair for getting me there 😉 Maybeeee my personality came into play too getting that part, who knows😋 This is a reminder to celebrate the little wins along the way 💫 All for now— signing off, “Mystery Woman.” Thank you @hairbyannie_907 @hairplayak for keeping my locks on point ☝🏼
Rose Abdoo will appear on The Young and the Restless as Dr. Mosley on April 4 and 5. She's had roles in popular series such as Scandal, Parenthood, Pretty Little Liars, Grey's Anatomy and played Gypsy on Gilmore Girls from 2002 to 2007.

Friday April 6 General Hospital viewers will see a few more doctors on the scene with University of South Carolina basketball player, A'ja Wilson, as Dr. Nash, TV personality and motivational speaker, Jay Williams as Dr. Nash's husband and hospital board member, and Oklahoma Sooners' college basketball star Trae Young as Dr. Bennett. It looks as though the trio will be a part of the Shadow Program that Kiki (Hayley Erin) is a part of. General Hospital posted an image of the newcomers.
Playing doctor is a lot easier than it looks, isn't it @RealJayWilliams, @TheTraeYoung & @_ajawilson22?!? Especially when you've got @mattcohen4real, @HayleyErin, & @donnellturner1 taking notes. #UntilTomorrow #GH55 @espn pic.twitter.com/7U6P3eLwpU

After Friday's historic 55th anniversary episode of General Hospital , Kin Shriner posted on Twitter that Scott Baldwin was "out" at GH. A few other tweets pertaining to the comment appear to have been deleted since then, one in which he stated, "I had a good run @GeneralHospital I wish them another 55 !" So far no further clarification has been made by the actor. His departure appears to be confirmed by fellow castmate Jackie Zeman (Bobbie Spencer). As the initial post from Shriner came on March 30, this doesn't appear to be an April Fools' joke. Soaps.com will continue to keep you updated on this story.
