Updated April 20: Soaps.com has learned that Robin Givens will make another B&B return as Dr. Philips on Thursday April 26.
As reported previously, actress Robin Givens, who currently plays Mayor Sierra McCoy on CW's "Riverdale," is set for a three-episode stint on "The Bold and the Beautiful" as Dr. Phillips, Steffy's obstetrician. Entertainment Weekly reports that Givens began filming today, Friday January 12, and her first airdate will be February 15.
Robin Givens boasts a long career in television and movies, including roles on series such as "Head of the Class," "House of Payne," "Chuck," "90210," "Twisted," and "Once Upon a Time." She recently completed work on the film "Dreams I Never Had" in which she plays a prosecuting attorney.

Soaps.com has learned that Jacob Young, who stars as Rick Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, has been dropped to recurring status with the show. The actor, who joined the soap in 1997, posted about the situation on Twitter. Young set the record straight saying, "I want to take a moment to address the rumors that I'm currently off contract. All true, I'm recurring and just starting to shoot a movie for Lifetime. I have been under contract for 21 years and this to me is a blessing. I can now have the time to pursue all my passions. Xo" The movie Young is referring to is a new indie feature film Faithfully, and Deadly Desert Vacation, which co-stars All My Children's Alexa Havins (ex-Babe). The actor has also been on tour promoting his country album Better Than a Love Song

General Hospital took to Twitter to announce that Leslie Charleson will be temporarily replaced as Monica Quartermaine. Apparently the actress tripped while walking her dog, Riley Rose, and injured her leg. Since episodes are written ahead of time, the actress will need to be replaced temporarily while she's on the mend and stated on Twitter, "I’m overwhelmed by all your comments and well wishes since my fall. I’ll do my best to heal quickly because there’s nothing more I’d like to do than to get back on my horse and back in the Quartermaine living room! My love and thanks to you all Patty McCormack will fill in for Charleson in some episodes beginning on May 7. The veteran actress is known for roles on The Doctors, Grey’s Anatomy, Hart of Dixie and The Bad Seed, to name a small few. Soaps.com sends the actress our well wishes!

John Enos will be making another return to Days of our Lives as Susan Banks' boyfriend, Roger Fisher, AKA Elvis Presley. Enos was last seen on Days November 21, 2017, in scenes with Susan Banks (Eileen Davidson), Sister Mary Moira Banks (Eileen Davidson), and Will Horton (Chandler Massey), before Will left Memphis and returned to his hometown of Salem, after learning he wasn't really Susan's son, EJ.

Updated April 13: Soaps.com has learned that Young and the Restless actor Kristoff St. John will return on canvas as Neil Winters beginning on Tuesday April 17.
On March 14 Soaps.com shared a first-look photo of Kristoff St. John back at the Y&R studio with castmates Daniel Goddard (Cane), Bryton James (Devon) and Eric Braeden (Victor). Goddard first posted a photo on Twitter with the caption, "He’s back! Please welcome the one and only Kristoff St.John back to the Young & the Restless! #yr #TheDenzelOfDaytime," followed by another and stated, "The look of joy on Eric’s face really says it all! We are such a close knit group and always have each other’s backs... Everyone has missed you Kristoff & we can’t begin to tell you how happy we are to have you back! #ReunitedAndItFeelsSoGood #yr #Family."
We learned on March 8 that fans will get to see Kristoff St. John back on their screens as Y&R's Neil Winters very soon. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the actor will be back taping at the studios next week. St. John was last seen on November 29, 2017. Stay tuned for his return date. On March 5, we were happy to announce that it appears Kristoff St. John is preparing to return to The Young and the Restless as Neil Winters. The actor posted a photo on Instagram using Y&R hash tags and stated, “The comeback kid. I’m ready. @moneybarber #life #journey #brandnew #indacut #thecut #barber #YR45 #youngandrestless #youngandrestlesscbs #yrinsider.” Back in October 2017 Kristoff St. John was hospitalized for a mental evaluation but since has been updating fans and thanking them for their continued support. Soaps.com brings you dayplayers cast in a few upcoming parts for March on ABC's General Hospital. These parts are often for one or two episodes, though some are recurring roles. The air dates may be off by a day or two due to past pre-empts of the show, or because the scenes with the actors were cut.
Hugh Holub has joined General Hospital in a recurring role as a Switzerland bank manager. He'll first appear during the week of April 16, played Hayes on Days of our Lives in 2012 and has had roles on Stranger Things, The Fosters and Shameless.
Lily Fisher appeared as Georgie on General Hospital on Thursday March 30 and first debuted in the role on January 16, 2017.
Celesta DeAstis plays Nurse Francesca, who Michael flirted with on March 13 on General Hospital. She also appeared as a grown up Avery in GH's Ava standalone episode on January 17 and played Alana Louis on Ladies of the Lake. See the actress' tweet about her role below...
Sigrid Owen briefly appeared on General Hospital as the daughter of Anna's mid-wife, Mireille, on March 8.
This Is Us child actor Max Matenko has landed a role on General Hospital.
Bruno Amato booked a role on General Hospital. In 2014 he appeared as Louie Franklin on the ABC soap. He also played a security guard on Days of our Lives in 2008, a guard on Passions in 2002 and Carl/bouncer on All My Children from 2000 to 2001.
Beginning on March 2, Tiana Le returned as Joss' friend Trina, who first appeared in 2017. She attended Joss and Oscar's alternative dance, along with their transgender friend Dakota, played by Emily Hinkler. Hinkler recently appeared on an episode of ABC's The Good Doctor.
Logan Reinhart played Troy, the bully who sought to ruin the teens' dance, on March 2.
Jonathan Ohye returned as Dr. Andy on March 5, a recurring character who first appeared in 2015.
On March 5, Hiram A. Murray played Officer Tucker. Murray has played the role on the show before, as well as an honor guard and Marshal Dowling.

Greg Evigan made a surprise appearance on the January 3 episode of General Hospital playing Jim Harvey, a developer friend of Ned's who met with Ned and Michael to discuss development of the Charles Street district for ELQ. Evigan will return Tuesday January 9 in another episode, but Evigan's run is over April 10 when Jim Harvey is killed off. Evigan is best known for playing B.J. McKay on "B.J. and the Bear," Joey Harris on "My Two Dads" and Dr. Dan Hathaway on "Melrose Place." This isn't the only time we'll see the actor. Fans can expect to see him a few more times.

Friday April 6 General Hospital viewers will see a few more doctors on the scene with University of South Carolina basketball player, A'ja Wilson, as Dr. Nash, TV personality and motivational speaker, Jay Williams as Dr. Nash's husband and hospital board member, and Oklahoma Sooners' college basketball star Trae Young as Dr. Bennett. It looks as though the trio will be a part of the Shadow Program that Kiki (Hayley Erin) is a part of. General Hospital posted an image of the newcomers.

Soaps.com has learned that Brooklyn Rae Silzer will soon be returning to General Hospital as her character Emma Scorpio-Drake visits her grandmother Anna Devane in Port Charles. With the Nurses' Ball coming up, it's possible Emma is returning for the event and maybe even to perform. Brooklyn Rae Silzer last appeared on GH in late 2016 through mid 2017 and was involved in last year's Nurses' Ball fiasco where Jake almost unleashed the Chimera project.

After Friday's historic 55th anniversary episode of General Hospital , Kin Shriner posted on Twitter that Scott Baldwin was "out" at GH. A few other tweets pertaining to the comment appear to have been deleted since then, one in which he stated, "I had a good run @GeneralHospital I wish them another 55 !" So far no further clarification has been made by the actor. His departure appears to be confirmed by fellow castmate Jackie Zeman (Bobbie Spencer). As the initial post from Shriner came on March 30, this doesn't appear to be an April Fools' joke. Soaps.com will continue to keep you updated on this story.
