Debate continues to rage on concerning Hope.
Brooke, Katie, Donna and Hope await the proofs from Hope's shoot in Katie's office. Madison walks in with the shots and the Logan sisters love them. Hope is excited, but wishes everyone else was as well. Brooke explains that Ridge just feels like Steffy is being shut out and Katie assures her there is no one better to represent them to the youth market than her.
In Ridge's office, Taylor wonders to her ex-husband if Katie had this planned all along. Ridge wouldn't doubt it, but he can't get over Brooke going along with it and wonders if she even cares. Eric and Thorne walk in and Taylor leaves so Ridge can fill his family in on Katie choosing Hope's concept over Steffy's. Thorne and Eric are stunned, as Steffy walks in to say, "The Logans strike again." They all discuss the issue and how Brooke doesn't see how wrong all this is. Eric knows how upset Ridge is, but urges him not to let it come between him and Brooke. Ridge doesn't want it to come to that. After everyone has left, Brooke comes to talk to her husband and tells him Hope's test shoot was fabulous. He's disappointed to learn they are going ahead with the line and Brooke reminds him she has always supported Steffy and asks him to give Hope a chance. She doesn't want this to turn into the Forresters vs. the Logans, but Ridge says Katie started that war and accuses her of having no respect for him or his children. He declares his family started this company, not Katie or the Logans. Brooke defends her sister but Ridge thinks by giving the new line to Hope Katie's trying to force Steffy out of the company. Brooke won't allow that to happen and asks him to give Hope a fair shot.
As Steffy looks over the shots alone in Katie's office, Hope comes in with coffee for Steffy because she's the intern. Steffy reminds her she's not an intern, she's a Logan and there's a big difference. Hope tries to smooth things over with her stepsister and wants to work with her and learn from the best. Steffy calls her sweet, but naïve because they are on opposite sides – Forrester and Logan. Hope wonders if that makes them destined to carry on the rivalry and Steffy guesses so.
At Jackie M, Owen and Jackie canoodle, as Stephanie walks in with news. She tells them about Forrester's new promotional push and Owen asks how Steffy is doing. Stephanie says she's having a tough time and adds that Ridge is staying at the company for the sake of his children and their legacy. She says the smartest thing the Logan girls ever did was make Steffy head of PR because that makes Ridge happy and they need him happy because they need him and his designs to be a success. Taylor comes in to talk to Stephanie and the Knights make their exit. Taylor fills her friend in on Hope's infiltration of the company. Taylor gets riled up, as Stephanie wonders if Brooke is trying to deliberately undermine her marriage by choosing her daughter over Ridge's.
Taylor returns to Ridge's office and they rehash things. Taylor tells him she filled Stephanie in and explains how lucky he is because he has no idea how many times his mother has had his back.
Stephanie comes to see Brooke at Forrester and tells her choosing Hope's idea is bad business. She also wonders if she ever considered how this would affect Ridge and her marriage. Brooke vows it won't affect their marriage, but she also won't turn her back on her daughter. Stephanie doesn't want to interfere in her marriage, but warns if she chooses Hope over Ridge it will be a big mess. She doesn't want it for either for them and asks her not to let this happen.
