Bill and Brooke both change their mind, while Nick learns a few things about Sandy.
Brooke continues to doubt Bill in his office, but he insists Katie is the only woman he wants to be with and spend the rest of his life with. Brooke thinks Katie has a right to know what happened and leaves. Alone, Bill looks at his necklace and thinks about his wedding vows. Bill cancels his meetings and walks out of the office.
After Ridge fits the models and praises Steffy for the great work she's doing, Steffy leaves and Katie walks in her office telling Ridge he's doing a brilliant job. Ridge wonders how brilliant he could be if they were running the company and not Bill. Ridge leaves and Brooke enters as Katie talks up their new collection. Brooke says there's something she needs to know, but Ridge returns and Katie tells them she thinks she and Ridge have reached an understanding. She knows he hopes to regain control of the company, but his daughter is flourishing. She tells him there is a sense of peace at Forrester regardless if they see eye to eye. She doesn't see it changing and Ridge responds, "We'll see." She thinks that's what Brooke wanted to address and Brooke doesn't contradict her. Katie leaves and Brooke looks concerned. Ridge tells Brooke he knows they will get the company back someday, but he's happy Steffy is happy at work and that there is finally some peace around there. When Katie has returned from her meeting and Brooke and Ridge have left, Bill walks in the office. She kisses him and he tells her to instruct her secretary to hold her calls. Brooke walks in as Katie does so and quietly tells him she changed her mind about him telling Katie, but Bill insists she has to be told. Brooke tells her sister Ridge needs to talk to her now and Katie leaves. Bill tells Brooke he's made up his mind he's telling Katie. Bill declares Katie can't hear it from someone else and she'll be fine with it, but Brooke worries about the fallout. Bill is set on telling Katie, but Brooke urges him not to.
Ridge and Steffy meet up on the rooftop and Ridge declares they will get their company back, but until then she needs to hang in there and do her best. Steffy declares she will do anything for him. Katie goes to the roof and asks a confused Ridge what he wanted to talk to her about. Ridge thinks maybe Brooke has just been concerned about Steffy and the pressure she's been under. Katie thinks maybe she's right. She's been doing a great job, but they don’t want her to burn out.
Bill and Steffy pass each other in the hallway as Bill leaves Katie's office. Steffy walks in to talk with Brooke who says, "I know what you did. I know everything."
Still at Sandy's place, Nick tells his surrogate they want her to be comfortable. She explains she's never done this before and it's a little bit strange. She asks him to cut her some slack and Nick looks down to see some mail addressed to Agnes Jones. Sandy is uncomfortable with Nick there and wants him to respect her privacy. Nick agrees, but asks if she lives there alone. She says yes and he asks why her mail is addressed to Agnes Jones. She grabs the mail and Nick asks, "Who are you?" Despite Sandy's protests, Nick looks through her cupboards and finds cookies and chips. Sandy insists she is eating better now, but Nick wonders why she hasn't been straight with them. She tells him she embellished her surrogate profile so she could help a great couple. She promises to give them the baby they want and says, "I need this Nick." He asks for her story and she says she wants to experience giving birth, but it won't happen for her, not with a man. She doesn’t want to talk about it, but Nick gently encourages her to do so because they have a right to know. He says she can trust him and reaches out to her, but she flinches demanding he not touch her. Nick assumes she has problems with men in general and asks, "What happened to you?"
