Rick and Steffy catch up, Brooke gets new information, and Katie remains blissfully happy.
Brooke lies in bed thinking about Bill's admission when Ridge wakes up wondering what's bothering her. Ridge asks if it has anything to do with Bill, pointing out that he doesn’t trust him and is waiting for the other shoe to drop. Brooke agrees he is a difficult person to trust. They talk about Steffy and Ridge says how proud he is of her and that Katie is responsible for her new job. He thinks Steffy doesn’t want to let her down and Brooke wonders if it's too much for Steffy and says she might need her father now more than ever. Stephanie calls Ridge about Rick using the Big Bear cabin and after they get off the phone, Brooke says she knows all about it. Ridge tells her the necklace was found between the cushions of the couch and then goes to take a shower. Brooke wonders what is really going on with Bill.
Steffy walks into Katie's office and Rick comes in behind her. He tells her he has never stopped wanting the best for her and hopes she finds a man who makes her as happy as newlyweds Katie and Bill. They catch up and she wonders if he ever wanted to turn back the clock and do things differently. Rick says no one wants that more than him, but you can't change the past. Steffy has to get back to work and Rick tells her Katie thinks very highly of her and that she is her golden girl. After Steffy has left, Ridge comes in the office and finds Rick talking on the phone and assumes he is talking to one of his women. Rick insists the necklace found at the cabin is not his and explains the woman he was talking to is part of one of the charities he is working with. He says losing Steffy was a wakeup call for him and he is working very hard to become a better person. Ridge apologizes for not giving him the benefit of the doubt. Rick leaves and Steffy comes back. Ridge wants to talk to his daughter when Steffy gets a call. She has to leave, but Ridge tells her he's there for her if she ever wants to talk.
Katie walks in Bill's office chastising him for letting her oversleep. He tells her he loves her and asks if he's forgiven. They kiss and Katie says she can forgive him for anything. She notes his necklace is still missing, but thinks it will turn up. They start to get frisky and Katie wonders what she did to deserve him. Bill says it's the other way around – he's not worthy of her, but he will keep working at it 24/7 until he is. He locks the door as they continue to kiss and get more passionate. After their interlude, they rearrange their clothes and then Brooke comes to the office. A very happy Katie leaves and Brooke tells Bill she thinks more happened at the cabin and demands answers. She assumes since his necklace was in between the cushions, more went on than just a kiss, but Bill sticks to his story. When Brooke threatens to get Steffy's side of the story, Bill says he'll tell her what happened.
An upset Sandy can't stop thinking about the camera flashes going off, when Whip comes to her place. She reminds him no one can know they are cousins and he understands, but he's worried about her after yesterday's photo shoot because she used to love that stuff. He wonders what happened. She doesn’t want to be interrogated and Whip notices the candy bars lying around. She assures him they are old and she is eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables so she can be a good surrogate for Nick and Bridget. Whip wonders what the deal is with that. Sandy is done talking, but Whip recalls how close they used to be and how she used to visit him at Forrester, but then she disappeared. She insists she's fine, but Whip knows something happened to her and he wishes she would let him help.
