Stephanie seeks comfort from her family, Brooke and Donna welcome Katie and Bill home, and Steffy wants Taylor to start dating.
Eric, Ridge, Thorne and Felicia gather around Stephanie at Eric's house where she tells them Ann wanted to be cremated and spread around Paradise Cove. They offer their condolences and she thinks Ann is in a better place. They have lunch together and Stephanie tells everyone she learned you should resolved things with the people you love and not let it drag out. She credits Eric with getting the ball rolling for the reconciliation between her and Ann when he brought her out a couple of Christmases ago. She thinks it was fortunate she and Pam were with her at the end and thanks Eric for making that happen. They hug, as their kids look on.
In Bill's office, Donna and Brooke surprise the newlywed couple who have returned from their honeymoon. Katie describes their incredible vacation and Bill asks what they missed in L.A. Brooke tells them Ann died. After some discussion on that topic, Bill is ready to get back to work and tells Donna they are still taping "The Catwalk" tonight despite Pam not being there. Donna has plans, but Bill instructs her to cancel them. Donna calls Eric and tells him she can't meet him later tonight because of work. She apologizes and promises to make it up to him.
After Eric gets off the phone, he tells the family Donna canceled because of the show. His kids badmouth her and think she is starting to show her true colors. Ridge adds that Stephanie needs him and he needs her too. Eric won't discuss his marriage with anyone in the room and Stephanie says she needs some time alone and is going up to Big Bear. Felicia tells her mother she did a wonderful job raising them and credits her for breaking the cycle of abuse she faced. Stephanie thinks Ann's death has finally closed the book, never to be opened again and hugs and kisses her children.
Bill runs into Jarrett in the hall at Spencer who tells him he couldn't find his necklace and asks where else he could have lost it. Bill has a realization and then pensively looks in his office at Katie laughing with her sisters.
At their house, Taylor and Steffy discuss Ann's death and how Stephanie and Pam took her to the beach to pass away peacefully. They discuss Stephanie's relationship with Ann and how she will deal with her death. Steffy thinks they should redo her room, but Taylor says Stephanie will only think of her house with Eric as her home and would move back in a second because she has a deep abiding love for him that will never die. After Taylor has left the room, Steffy thinks about her kiss with Bill. Taylor returns, wondering if she wants to talk about anything. Steffy brings up Taylor's love life and thinks it's time she moved on and suggests she try online dating. Taylor thinks Steffy is pushing it, but eventually agrees to try it and Steffy gets to work on building her an online profile.
