Phoebe asks Taylor if Shane can move in until he's recuperated. Of course, Taylor doesn't want him to, wants to get him a nurse, cover all of his medical expenses. Shane is touched by Phoebe's actions, as she argues her point with Taylor. Taylor asks to talk to Phoebe alone.
Outside of Shane's room, Taylor tells Phoebe that she went too far by offering their home to Shane, but Phoebe doesn't see the harm in having him stay there for a few days. Taylor says no, that they can't just invite strangers into their home. Taylor asks Phoebe if she's feeling guilty, trying to make up for all that happened with Darla, keeping the secret from Thorne. Phoebe says she needs to do this, that she needs to help Shane. Taylor finally gives in, says he can stay for a few days.
As Shane asks himself what he's doing, why he's trying to take advantage of Taylor and her family, Phoebe comes back in, tells him that Taylor said he can stay with them for a few days. Shane tells Phoebe that she's very sweet, then pulls her to him, kisses her.

She remembers back on her night with Nick, to when they made love, to their promise not to ever tell Brooke. Because of the situation, Bridget fears being pregnant with Nick's child, but can't help thinking back on their pregnancy with Nicole. After anxiously waiting, Christian comes back, tells Bridget that he has her test results.
Jackie spends time with Hope until Brooke and Nick come home. When they return, Jackie takes Hope upstairs, leaving Brooke and Nick alone.
Nick asks Brooke what she would think about having a child with him. Brooke is a little taken back by Nick's suggestion, reminds him of all the losses he's had. However, Nick asks her again, and Brooke says although she loves kids, she's not sure if she wants another baby, considering that Hope and RJ are so young. Nick understands, says that maybe he's not meant to have a baby of his own, that he looks to Brooke's kids as if they were his.
