Donna's siblings learn of Eric's choice. Ridge tries to convince Felicia and Thorne not to interfere in Eric's life. Felicia spots her ex-flame working at Forrester. Stephanie is shocked when Eric declares his love for Donna.

Donna and Eric are in the office reaffirming their love for one another. He says it's a wonderful new beginning - a whole new era for Forrester with a wonderful woman by my side. He tells Donna that now he just has to tell Stephanie! They kiss and leaves to go see her. As he is walking out Ridge stops him and pulls him into his office. Ridge asks him to wait until after the show to make his decision between Donna and his mother. Ridge wonders if Eric is seeing Donna in order to get revenge on Stephanie. Eric excuses himself. Back in the other office, Donna is thinking back to Eric telling Stephen he loves her. Just then Brooke and Katie come in and an ecstatic Donna shares her news! Brooke is thrilled, but Katie warns it's a bad idea for Forrester to reveal this at the show!

Felicia and Thorne are working when she realizes her ex-boyfriend Jake MacClaine is working at Forrester. Ridge comes in and tells them that Eric has gone to see their mother at the hotel. Felicia is happy - it's their ritual before every show! She is convinced that it means Stephanie will be taking her rightful place at the fashion show! Meanwhile, at Stephanie's hotel room, she welcomes Eric in confidently...

As the show is set-up, Ridge warns Felicia against getting their hopes up - he got a bad vibe! He feels Eric may have already chosen Donna and has gone to tell Stephanie. When Felicia and Thorne protest, Ridge says Eric never interfered in their happiness, why should they mess with his?!

Still in Eric's office, Donna tries to convince Katie to lighten up about her and Eric. Katie reminds her she almost married Thorne - it's a PR nightmare! Brooke is extremely supportive though, she crosses the room to hug Donna again as a dubious Katie looks on.

In her room, Stephanie and Eric discuss how important the show is - she suggests he back off on making a personal announcement at the show. She says we'll work out the rest later. Eric's reply is, "I'm sorry Stephanie." She gives him a puzzled look, "What do you mean?"

The three Logan sisters smile and giggle in the office until Storm walks in fresh off his confrontation with their father. Storm approaches Brooke and embraces her, "I'm so sorry. Why didn't you tell me?" Brooke fills him in on Stephanie's involvement in her rape and he urges her to press charges. Donna fills him in on Eric leaving Stephanie for her.

Ridge tells Thorne and Felicia that even if Eric's decision turns out to be bad for the company, it's his call! The other pair protest that no matter what 'mother' did she doesn't deserve to lose her marriage and be humiliated. Ridge says he still loves her, but what she did to Brooke pushed things way over the edge! Felicia works to convince Ridge that Stephanie suffered because of Brooke too. It doesn't compare to what Brooke went through, retorts Ridge. But Thorne and Felicia are sure that Eric can forgive her. Ridge is in disbelief.

Stephanie apologizes again to Eric. He says that's not what he came there for. She continues to discuss her 'issues', but he says it doesn't change anything. Eventually he cuts her off by telling her he's in love with Donna.

Storm has it out with his sisters over his hurt in being left out of their lives. Storm again asks Brooke to press charges against Stephanie. Katie tells her that they found the gun that Stephanie gave her. Storm tells her he took it from her house safe and put it in her desk drawer. The girls try to reassure Storm that they love and need him.

Back in the hotel room, Stephanie scoffs at Eric, "You are not in love with Donna!" She continues by saying that if he goes onstage with her, that's all the press will talk about! She calls him adolescent and selfish, and warns, "I won't take you back!" Eric, however, simply says, "I don't want to go back, I don't like who I am with you." Stephanie back tracks and says the problem is that she didn't let the children grow up and go, and turn her attention back to him. Eric prepares to leave - he won't stand and listen to her say the things he's wanted her to for years - it's too late, "I've tried more than anyone ever has." He looks at her thoughtfully and says, "I will always love you." Stephanie grabs hold of him and kisses him on the mouth desperately. He gently breaks away. She tries to keep hold of his hand as tears spring to her eyes, but he pulls his hand away and leaves. Stephanie sits heavily on the edge of the bed in tears and shock.
