    Thanks Tabmow and Angeleyes.

    I totally agree with your alternate scenarios for Ridge and Stephanie -- either one beats him being a total no-show. The audience knows RM is off the show, so we'd accept an off-screen goodbye. How do the actors keep a straight face when acting out these ridiculous storylines? It's almost comical.

    I'm no Brooke fan, but her being with Stephanie at the end makes more sense than anything they've written related to Ridge.

    As for Bill and Brooke, I agree with Tabmow. I don't think anything will come of it besides them being close FRIENDS. Cause they would have already gotten together by now with the close situations that have already been in , you know it never takes that long to hook up on these shows. Though I have to say Bill is clearly not upset enough at the disappearance of his wife. He has gone to great lengths to keep Hope and Liam apart, facing jailtime even and he can't use that same energy to hunt for his wife? This show really needs to start coming with some more realistic storylines.

    amen lol, after watching Bridget and Ridge kissing i think everything can happen in this soap!!

    It seems that Katie is staying in contact with Taylor to keep tabs on Brooke and Bill, not to seek help. However, just maybe, she subconsciously does want help. At some point, Taylor will have to do something, if Katie continues on the way she is. I also agree that it's not very believable that Bill with all his resources cannot find Katie in his own backyard; or more acurately, his former home.

    It's certainly poor timing that RM's contract couldn't have been renewed for a short period to at least be part of Stephanie's "last days" story line.

    @BBLongTimeFan ~

    I have to wonder where the fault really lies with Ridge's absence at his mother's last party. I know I read that Susan Flannery made a personal call to him to ask him to come, even though his contract wasn't renewed. He declined. An interview with him also indicated that he (not TPTB) wasn't interested in renewing his contract because he was upset the 'young' ones were getting more canvas time than he was, and he was being replaced by Liam as a leading man (who to me is puke-worthy, but I never thought Ridge was anything to swoon over either - UGH!) This is not to say everything we read is the gospel. But I do think in the credibility department, the writers SHOULD have included Ridge in some way ... a stand-in who looked and/or sounded enough like him to do some sort of in-person scene with Stephanie prior to or immediately after the party. This Ridge didn't have to have an interaction with Bridge - just his mother, dammit!

    Finally something making sense in this soap. I dont know when these writers decide a storyline if they talk with eachother and ask themselves if this crap make sense. Cuz for a long time maybe abt 3 or 4 years nothing make sense. Rick making out with Steffy like they are abt the same age. Remember when Thomas was born, Rick was dating Amber come on.Or Caroline how old is he??Where is RJ??

    They should at least bring Ridge for her death what is wrong with these writers.

    Yes, where is RJ, or even Bridgette for that matter. There are so many characters that have just disappeared off this soap, with no explanation. I really liked Nick and Jackie, and the fact that they were trying to compete with Forrester Creations. Now I guess FC has no competition? Or will the writers resurrect Jackie/Sally's company with a new owner?

    Great points. I keep saying its only a soap but does that mean we have to settle for all the unrealistic writing. Have we become too accepting of this bullcrap. I mean really. I know things have to somewhat move in a quick pace but the aging of these kids is so funny. I forgot Rick was dating Amber when Thomas was born now he dating Thomas girlfriend. I just want some realism. Night shows do it; to a certain extent. Does anyone remember them aging kids on Dallas or Knots Landing? Why is it so hard for daytime to do it.

    I think it wouldve been even more perfect if Ridge, Brooke, and Eric were there for Stephanie's last moments. I am not a fan of Ridge, but I too am dissapointed that he was not there. They couldve had a temporary replacement like they did for Jeanna Cooper on Y&R when she was sick.

    Katie, if you are not going to take Taylors advice then you need to leave her alone. You are putting her in an awkward position. I love Taylor but she needs to say something to Bill and Brooke. Its only gonna come back to bite her in the end.

    I think having Brooke there when Stephanies dies kinda makes sense. (And i dont evem like Brooke) with Everything that they have been through it makes sense to have Brooke there so that she can let Stephanie go knowing she has her love and acceptance.

    And whats up with Bill not looking for Katie? Did he just tell Justin to handle it and thats that? Atleast Brooke had an excuse for the moment. Sir, go find your wacky wife instead of plotting against RIdge. for ditching Brooke.
