Rick tells Hope his view of Liam, Marcus and Dayzee get news, and Steffy tells Liam where she stands.

Rick and Hope enter Brooke's house from the pool. They joke about why Rick doesn't live there before talk turns to Liam. Rick thinks Hope is in denial about him. Hope says no one in her family is qualified to give love advice. Rick says Liam has a hair-trigger inside that will turn him around on a dime - he is who he is and she needs to accept that. Hope doesn't want Rick to run Liam into the ground - he's still the man she wants to spend her life with. Rick levels with Hope - if Liam was fooling around with Steffy right before their wedding, it wasn't because of a misunderstanding or that he couldn't control himself; it was because he wanted to.

At Forrester, Steffy tells Ridge and Taylor she's taking some time off to go to the beach, but she's not sure which one - that depends on what Liam says when she shows up at his door. Ridge and Taylor worry about her letting Liam call the shots. Steffy says if it doesn't work out she'll travel on her own. After, Taylor tells Ridge she doesn't trust Liam to make a decision and stick with it. Ridge says people said that about him - which is why he knows this is different.

Marcus and Dayzee kiss in the cafe office. Marcus talks about how everything has led him straight to her. They discuss him spending the night in jail, and how Dayzee was tested in life more than he has been. Dayzee loves the man he decided to be. They kiss. They each take a call. Dayzee learns that Anthony has come out of his surgery, and Marcus learns that a drunk driver was arrested for the hit-and-run. They kiss and cuddle on the couch.

Liam comes into the house from the beach, wondering if Hope's been there. She hasn't. He roots through a bin and pulls out a videotape. He thinks of Steffy and smiles. As he works on the VCR, Steffy arrives with packed bags. She says she's moving back in with him or moving on. He giggles when she says she wants to drink wine and kick sand in his house. Steffy talks about the constant state of upheaval Hope has had him in, and how Steffy would be there next week and 50 years from now. Steffy tells him all it would take for him to change things is to say, "Come home."
