Dragging His Heels. Wednesday, July 04 2012

Thomas warns Marcus, Taylor visits Ridge, and Katie shares news with Brooke and Hope.

At Dayzee's, Liam and Steffy discuss the emotional rollercoaster they've been on. Liam says his feelings for her are real. Steffy feels the same but says now he's Hope's husband, not hers. She talks about how it felt to listen from the bathroom and not tell Hope he'd committed to a life with her. Liam asks why she didn't. Steffy says she knew she had to let him go. She admits she told her mom everything. Liam is concerned. Steffy promises him no one will find out.

At home, Hope unlocks Liam's tablet so she and Brooke can see more photos. Katie arrives and congratulates Hope, who gushes that her wedding was everything she could have imagined. Katie shares that she and Bill are having a boy. Hope trills that Liam will have a little brother! Katie asks Hope about Deacon showing up. Hope says she called him 'Dad' and felt all the love she'd been keeping inside. Brooke grimly says it was the first and last time if she has anything to say about it. Hope describes all the delays that kept her from the wedding, and the ceremony. Hope tells Katie that Bill was one of the best parts of the day. Brooke agrees; she almost understood why Katie fell in love with him. Katie exclaims, "Finally!" Katie takes Hope outside to give her a present. Brooke picks up the tablet and sees a video of Liam and Steffy.

At Forrester, Taylor enters Ridge's office and tells him Liam is still in love with their daughter. She wants to know what they're going to do about it. Taylor tells him how powerful it was to see them bump into each other at Dayzee's. Ridge says Liam will honor his commitment to Hope - they have to let them live the lives they've chosen. Taylor asks, "What if those lives were chosen for them?"

Dayzee and Marcus work out at Forrester and discuss Hope and Liam's wedding, and how Bill's sabotage didn't work. Thomas and Caroline appear. Marcus jokes that they're trying to be like them, and kisses Dayzee. Caroline and Dayzee chat while the guys play basketball. Thomas confides in Marcus that Caroline keeps him interested. They all gather to discuss how long Marcus and Dayzee have been together - almost a year. Caroline asks when their wedding will be. Dayzee says Marcus has been too busy to pencil her in. Thomas warns him not to keep dragging his heels - she might slip away.
