Liam and Hope return, Taylor bickers with Steffy, and Liam and Steffy bump into each other.
Brooke and Ridge welcome Liam and Hope home from Italy. Hope giggles that she came to pick up a few things before heading home with her husband. Hope thanks Brooke for planning everything in Italy - except for one misunderstanding it was perfect. Liam flinches. Ridge and Hope share a moment over feeling like a real father and daughter again. Liam shows Brooke and Ridge photos before leaving for work. Brooke and Hope enthuse over her moving out. Brooke tells Ridge she wants to call Steffy and thank her.
Taylor and Steffy have coffee at Dayzee's. Taylor is still concerned about Steffy after what happened with Liam in Italy. Steffy muses that maybe she shouldn't have told her. She wants Taylor to drop it - it's time for her to move on. Steffy takes a call from Brooke, who tells her Hope and Liam are back in town. Brooke says she showed a lot of class in Italy by not turning the misunderstanding into something it wasn't - she wants to be close again. Steffy hangs up and tells Taylor that Brooke is grateful for her sacrifice. Taylor chuckles. "If she only knew." Steffy insists no one can find out what happened. Taylor thinks Bill should be exposed. Steffy agrees his manipulations are disgusting, but won't rat him out to Liam. Taylor agrees to keep mum, but isn't a fan of Steffy putting everyone's happiness before her own. Taylor thinks Hope has a right to know that Liam was ready to reunite with Steffy. Steffy doesn't think it matters now. She walks across the cafe and bumps into Liam. Dripping with coffee, they sit down and make awkward conversation about his honeymoon. He's worried about how they left things. Steffy doesn't want to be haunting his marriage, but admits she is hurt. Liam marvels over the way it all played out. He tells Steffy he does love her and always will.
Still at home, Brooke sends Ridge off to work, saying she wants to hear about Hope's honeymoon. Brooke and Hope get into it about Deacon. Brooke says Ridge is the only dad she needs. Hope knows Brooke hates Deacon, but she wants him in her life. Brooke wants Hope to promise to let her know if he tries to make contact. Hope won't stay away from him, but agrees. They find Liam's tablet and look at photos.
