Katie and Bill have their ultrasound, Hope and Liam discuss their wedding day, and Steffy confides in Taylor.
At the OB/GYN appointment, Katie assures Bill everything is okay with her. Bill wants a guarantee that Katie will survive the pregnancy. The doctor says the risks associated with Katie's condition have been lowered in recent years. Bill can't even think about losing Katie. The ultrasound begins. Bill wonders if they'll see a little sword necklace. Katie giggles. The doctor tells them they're having a son! After, Bill gazes at the ultrasound photo and notes he missed all this with Liam. He tells Katie he's a better man because of her - she's given him the ability to feel and love. He notes how much courage she has to bring this child into the world. Bill gets choked up as he says he owes her everything. They kiss.
In their suite, Hope and Liam talk about her new perspective on parents since she saw Deacon. Liam muses that Deacon had a bigger effect on her than he'll ever know. They talk about their wedding day, and laugh about her riding in the tiny truck. Hope says the day turned out perfect. "I wouldn't change anything, would you?" Liam flashes to being with Steffy and says there are things he would change.
At Forrester, Taylor and Steffy discuss Bill's possible role in Deacon showing up in Italy. Taylor warns Steffy not to defend Bill. Steffy insists she's not - she blasted him. Taylor thinks more happened in Italy. Steffy admits it. She describes how she went to see Liam after Hope didn't show up at their wedding. She says she thought everything changed forever - the things Liam said to her, and did after that, made her realize they belong together. Taylor asks what happened, but Steffy gets a call from Hope in Italy. Hope says she just wanted to touch base with her and Liam says, "Hi!" Steffy tells her to have a safe flight back and hangs up. Steffy then tells Taylor that when she was alone with Liam he told her he loved her. Taylor marvels that he said this on his wedding day. Steffy tells Taylor what happened when Hope returned to the hotel. Steffy says a few minutes before that, Liam had pledged his life to her. If they'd got on Bill's jet they'd probably be remarried, and Hope has no idea. Taylor asks what she and Liam did alone in that hotel room.
In the suite in Italy, Liam thinks about his last exchange with Steffy and telling her he loves her.
Spoilers for Next Week on The Bold and the Beautiful:
Steffy doesn't want to tell Taylor any more of what happened in Italy.
Taylor wants Ridge to support Steffy in fighting for the man she wants.
Brooke and Taylor have it out, with Ridge feeling caught in the middle.
