Bill is rude to Karen, Steffy talks to Taylor, and Danielle thinks Caroline is in love.
Ridge finds Taylor at Forrester and tells her he and Brooke got engaged in Italy. They agree they'll always love each other. As they hug, Thomas enters. Steffy follows, and tells her family she's ready to move on. They discuss her going to Italy. Steffy says Hope fared well - she won Bill's support and Ridge walked her down the aisle. Thomas leaves to see Caroline. Ridge and Steffy discuss Deacon showing up in Italy. Ridge says Hope reacted like a neglected little girl. He hopes Deacon won't be heard from again. Ridge goes, and Steffy tells Taylor that she thinks Bill got Deacon out of prison. Taylor says if he bribed someone, he deserves to be in prison!
Bill and Katie kiss at home. Karen arrives. Bill tells her whatever she wants can wait - he's spending time with his wife. Katie laughs and tells her to come in. Danielle joins them. Bill sticks with being rude and says, "Ladies, there's the door." Karen insists that what she has to say is important. Bill thinks it's about Danielle's job, and promises to give it his attention. Karen sighs. Katie tells Bill to listen, but Karen gives up, and they leave. Bill kisses Katie, who reminds him she has a doctor's appointment. She asks him if he had anything to do with Deacon showing up in Italy. Bill avoids the question, but tells her how he apologized to Hope and welcomed her to the family. Katie wonders if he had a personality transplant! They kiss and joke before leaving.
Outside at Forrester, Caroline talks to Thomas about how quickly things have changed around there since she arrived. They discuss Rick's line being dropped. She admits she prefers their designs. Thomas tells her she's beautiful and he can't get enough of being with her. She suggests he move into the other Forrester guesthouse - it's vacant now that Rick moved out. They adjust a dress design and kiss.
Danielle rants about how rude Bill is as she and Karen arrive at home. Talk turns to Caroline and her 'glow' - they think she's in love. They talk about how great Thomas is, and recall when they fell in love.
Bill tries the stirrups in the OB/GYN's office as Katie laughs. The doctor appears to get ready for the ultrasound. They decide to find out the sex. Katie beams. "In a few minutes we're going to know if we're raising a son or a daughter."
