Phoebe gets medical treatment, Thorne continues to depend on Taylor and Stephanie makes a shocking decision.

Eric is concerned for Phoebe and tries to get information from Alexandria. As Phoebe lies on the sofa, she sees a scarred Darla once again…and this time she is asking if she knows where her mother is. Phoebe mutters the word jail. A confused Eric turns to Alexandria, and she tells Eric that Phoebe said that it was her fault that Darla died.
Taylor tells Thorne that she is so sorry. Taylor says that she has ruined her life. Thorne tells her that he used to feel that way, and that it is because of her that he and Alexandria are able to face each new day. Thorne tells her that whatever is going on, he will be here to help her just like she has helped him. As Thorne asks Taylor to tell him what is going on, Stephanie stands up and requests a moment alone with her. Stephanie and Taylor step outside to the patio. Taylor wonders why Stephanie pulled her outside, and she tells Taylor that is was because of how Thorne sees her. Taylor says that it is only because he doesn't know the truth. Stephanie tells Taylor that she wouldn't trust her to tie her own shoes at this point in her life. Taylor insists that she wants to tell Thorne the truth. Stephanie tells her that she is a mess, and until she can pull herself together, her life isn't even her own. Taylor tells Stephanie that she has lost herself. As Stephanie continues to judge her, Taylor tells her that maybe she just has the habit of listening to the wrong people…like she did with her, because that ended her marriage. Thorne interrupts, and still tries to figure out what is going on. Stephanie quickly takes lead in the conversation and tells Thorne that Taylor is probably in no shape to talk about it now, but there was a fire at Hectors house. Thorne offers to drive Taylor to the hospital, but Stephanie says there is no need because she gave the medics her number. The phone rings and Stephanie is shocked that it is Eric calling from University Hospital. Eric tells Stephanie to put Taylor on the phone because he had to admit Phoebe. He tells Taylor the details of what Phoebe's symptoms are, and wants to know if she is allergic to anything. Thorne grabs the phone and says that they are on their way to the hospital. As Bridget takes care of Phoebe, she looks over and notices that Alexandria is missing from the room. Eric and Bridget find her in the lobby underneath a chair because she is scared.
When Taylor, Stephanie and Thorne arrive at the hospital, Bridget informs them of the tests results so far. Bridget tells Taylor that the last she has heard about Hector is that he is conscious and on his way to recovery. Taylor, Stephanie and Eric go in to see Phoebe as Thorne stays in the lobby with Alexandria. Thorne later comes in and asks Taylor to come help him with Alexandria, because she thinks that her mother is upstairs. Taylor suggests that they take her to see the room that Darla died in so she can have closure. Stephanie spies on the Taylor, Thorne and Alexandria through the glass on the door. Phoebe gets back to normal, and Bridge gives her the ok to go home. When Eric and Bridget leave the room, Stephanie shuts the door and looks at Taylor and Phoebe and tells them it's time to get serious now. Taylor tells Phoebe that Stephanie knows the truth. Phoebe tries to deny it, but Stephanie tells her to cut the act and tell the truth….and to remember, that God is listening. Phoebe tells Stephanie that it was an accident, and that anyone driving by would have hit Darla. Stephanie tells Taylor that she owes a debt, but not to society. She owes it to Thorne and Alexandria. Stephanie tells Taylor that she has got to be there for them. Taylor says that she has been doing that, but that she can't live with the guilt. Stephanie tells her that she has to pick up the pieces and go on. She tells her that if it was an accident, she should make it end here. She insists that she can learn to live with it. She seals the deal by telling Taylor that she owes it to Darla.
