Bill wants Liam to come to his senses, Steffy backs out, and Deacon meets Hope.
In her suite in Italy, Steffy paces and thinks back on marrying Liam in Aspen. Ridge appears and holds her as she cries. He tells her she doesn't have to do this.
On the terrace in Italy, Liam video calls Hope, who is getting ready for the wedding. She says she'll see him at the church. Bill appears and suggests Liam come to his senses. Liam asks him to stop. They discuss Hope moving the ceremony. Bill goes to take care of something, and Ridge arrives. He asks Liam if he's sure of what he's doing today. Liam promises he's ready to commit to Hope. Ridge asks where Bill has gone. Liam muses that he had something to do.
Hope tells Brooke, in her suite, that she moved the ceremony to the church - it just feels right. Steffy comes to the door. Hope enthuses about the change of venue. Steffy blurts, "I can't do this." She thought she could tough it out, but she can't stand up behind her, crying and wishing things were different. She says no one should take away from their joy. Later, Hope emerges in her wedding gown. Brooke is speechless as Ridge enters and says, "Breathtaking." He asks about walking her down the aisle. She remains silent. He says he loves her.
Bill arrives at Deacon's room and Alison realizes he struck out trying to get Liam to change his mind. Bill warns Deacon about mouthing off. Deacon thinks there must be another way to do this, but Bill repeatedly tells him to do what he's told and not to screw it up.
Steffy finds Liam outside and tells him she spoke with Hope, who is excited to be his wife. She adds that she told Hope she can't watch them marry and she was sweet about it. Steffy tells Liam to be happy.
At the church, the priest greets Ridge and Brooke. Bill appears and introduces himself. He makes a crack about the church, but Liam interrupts to say his father is totally on board with whatever the bride wants. They discuss Steffy not coming to the ceremony. Brooke tells Liam that Hope will be along soon - she wanted a moment alone.
Hope is still in her room when there is a knock at the door. She is stunned to find Deacon on the other side, and lets him in. He tells her he had to come for her wedding. Hope asks how he knew. Deacon says he's kept track of her. Hope cries, "You have no idea how much I wanted you here today. Dad!" They embrace.
