Steffy reminisces, Ridge proposes, and Hope finds a perfect location.
Hope and Liam walk through the streets in Italy and stop to kiss. Hope tells him they have to find a spot to get married. They continue sightseeing and kissing, and stop to watch a cliff diver. They look at a statue of the man who wrote Volare, and Hope spots the grand staircase. At the top of the staircase, they look out to sea, and Hope declares that this is where they're getting married. Liam lifts her up and spins her around.
Ridge and Brooke stroll through the olive grove. She says she never knew he was obsessed with giant olives. He says he's also obsessed with her. Ridge rhymes off statistics about olive trees as they search for a giant olive. Brooke wants to stop for a break, but Ridge urges her on. They play hide-n-seek in the grove. Ridge proves to be quite elusive. Brooke finds a giant olive and it contains an engagement ring. Ridge proposes and she says she forgot they weren't married. She accepts. They kiss.
At Forrester, Eric pours Stephanie a drink and toasts to the bride and groom. Stephanie wonders how it's going over there, and muses that it won't be great for Steffy. Eric says they should have gone. Stephanie agrees at first, but then they laugh and say they're better off at home. Eric says he hopes Ridge and Brooke reconnect in Italy - they're actually not married right now. Stephanie says he's right. Eric teases her when she says Brooke really makes Ridge happy.
In Deacon's room in Italy, Bill tells Alison he talked Steffy out of going back to L.A. Deacon wonders if she's part of the game too. Bill says no questions. Deacon asks if he could possibly stop being a tool for five minutes. Alison mentions Katie's sonogram appointment. Deacon scoffs at him having another kid. They argue over what Bill's doing to his son.
Steffy steps out onto her terrace in Italy and thinks back on times with Liam. She remembers wearing lingerie for their interview, him saving her life, and their wedding. Steffy takes a call from Stephanie. Steffy says she hopes this will give her closure. She jokes that she's thinking of jumping off the hotel roof. Stephanie tells her to keep a stiff upper lip.
