Ridge tells Brooke that Hope wants her father, Liam asks Bill a question, and Stephanie visits Liam.
Stephanie enters Steffy's office and tells her she knows Liam still loves her. Steffy explains why she let him go. Stephanie says the love won't go away. Steffy says Liam will marry Hope - he won't let her down. Once alone, Steffy cries.
Brooke tells Ridge, in his office, that Hope is feeling a void in her life where her father is concerned. Ridge says she'll have his complete support at the wedding. Brooke wishes Deacon's name hadn't come up at Hope's therapy and shudders at the thought of him.
In her office, Hope realizes Liam's still thinking about Steffy. Liam changes the topic to Ridge. Hope wonders if he'll be able to walk her down the aisle. Later, Brooke enters. She and Hope discuss Ridge. Hope says he's not her father in the way he is Steffy's father, and she doesn't want him to feel obligated to be at the wedding. Ridge appears and says he wants to be there. Ridge suggests they act like a family. Hope tells Ridge not to abandon Steffy like Deacon did her. Hope exits. Ridge tells Brooke that Hope wants her father. Brooke says she has one. Ridge says she has him, but Deacon is her father.
In his office, Bill phones the warden and tells him they're moving forward with the Deacon Sharpe situation. Katie arrives. He asks how she's feeling. She enthuses, "Great!" Bill tells her not to pretend this is a normal pregnancy - he's worried about her. Katie teases him, and asks if his sour mood is about Liam's decision. Bill says Liam didn't make a decision - Steffy did. Liam arrives and Bill tells him that Katie is pregnant. He explains it's high risk, and then tells Katie she'd better not come to Italy. Katie agrees to play it safe. Bill says he'll be there. Liam asks him to stand up for him. Katie blurts, "Of course he will." Liam wants to hear it from Bill. Bill agrees to be the best man - he will always be there for Liam. Once alone, Bill and Liam discuss whether Ridge will be there for Hope. Bill muses that dads are important to girls on their wedding day. Bill says he'll fly to Italy separately. He brings up Hope letting Liam down. Liam leaves, assuring Bill they are getting married. Later, Hope shows up in Bill's office.
Liam finds Stephanie waiting in his office. She gives him a talk, saying she knows he still loves Steffy, and telling him he doesn't have to marry Hope.
