Hope opens up to her counselor, Steffy visits Liam, and Bill appeals to Steffy.
In her counseling session, Hope confirms that she and Liam made love, and she covered up for the thoughts going through her mind. Brooke listens as she stresses that she can't let this become a problem for her and Liam. When asked what the 'thoughts' were, Hope says they were mostly about herself. She clarifies that it's about the person she's become - her mom was a sex symbol, but she chose to be somebody else, and it feels like that's come back to haunt her. Brooke starts to speak, but Hope stops her, saying the two of them see sex very differently. The counselor tells Brooke that Hope should answer, and asks Hope how she views intimacy. Hope says it was something she had to 'get through', and that's not fair to Liam. The counselor points out that she went against her beliefs, and asks why. Hope says she felt like Steffy was controlling them. Hope and Stacy both realize that she didn't actually take control back. Brooke argues that she did. Brooke says maybe she just had her expectations too high. Hope tells the counselor about Brooke being raped, adding that she almost was too. She says she just has an issue with Liam still being married. Stacy says Hope has a lot of work to do, and gives her some anti-anxiety medication. Brooke advises Hope not to let Steffy get the best of her.
At Spencer, Bill asks Liam if he's thinking about last night with Hope. They bicker about Liam's plan to ask Steffy to sign the annulment papers again. Bill thinks it will rip her apart. Liam scoffs at Bill being 'sensitive'.
Steffy attends to business at Forrester. She and Madison discuss Hope and Liam. Madison says her friends told her Liam went to work today. Steffy muses that he's at work and Hope isn't...
Steffy visits Liam in his office. She asks about last night. Liam says they need to talk about the annulment papers again. Steffy muses that it must have been an incredible night. Liam says he doesn't want her holding out for something that isn't going to happen. Steffy tells him she'll never forget their time together. As tears fall, she tells him not to forget her. They kiss. Liam exits. She's about to sign the papers when Bill appears and stops her. He tells her not to give up - she's the woman for his son.
