Hope holds her press conference, Steffy maintains her position, and Brooke confronts Steffy.
In her office, Steffy tells Liam she won't sign the annulment papers. She points out that he wants to pick up where he and Hope left off, but perhaps he's forgotten they weren't in a great spot. Steffy says a few months waiting for a divorce will give him time to be certain - if that's still his decision then, she'll respect it. Liam leaves, and Taylor enters. Steffy tells her she didn't sign the annulment papers - her marriage wasn't a mistake. Steffy rants about Hope having to get on her soap box to say how her values paid off - it's still about her campaign, not her and Liam.
Ridge and Brooke find Hope preparing for her press conference with the help of Marcus and Beverley. Ridge asks her about keeping it low key. Hope says she's not trying to gloat - just show that this story has a happy ending. Liam appears and asks Hope to speak alone, but Hope can't wait to tell everyone that if you maintain your integrity, good things happen. She tells the press she and Liam are back together. Hope thanks those who have supported her over the past few months, and confirms that she is still 'waiting' for marriage, coyly adding that won't be long - they're going to be married tomorrow! Jerrod grills Liam, who says he and Hope will get married as soon as possible. The press goes with Ridge and Hope to see the wedding dress.
Brooke finds Liam alone in an office and says he seem surprised by Hope's announcement. Liam admits it didn't even occur to him she would says they're getting married tomorrow. Brooke is stunned to hear that Steffy wouldn't sign the papers. She insists he force the issue with Steffy. Liam stammers that he needs more time. Brooke is fed up with Steffy's stupid games. She storms out. Liam tries to go after her, but Rick appears and keeps him there, telling him to let his mom do damage control.
Brooke enters Steffy's office and demands to know where the annulment papers are at. Steffy tells her she offered Liam a divorce, but won't sign an annulment. Brooke says Hope wants to move on with her life tomorrow. Steffy says that's too bad, and tells Brooke to stay out of it.
