Katie and Bill have it out, Liam thinks of Hope, and Hope argues with Thomas.
At Liam and Steffy's house, Bill tells Katie that maybe her doctor was wrong. She scoffs at his denial. They go inside, where Katie says they both know there is no blood clot. She accuses Bill of doing this to keep Steffy close. Bill says she isn't seeing this for what it is. Katie disagrees - the truth is staring her in the face. Katie says Liam doesn't really know him - but that will change. She cries that it's easy to be blinded by him, but the truth rips the blinders off. Bill says he loves her, and did what he did to stop Liam from making a mistake. Katie's not buying it - his campaign to keep Liam and Steffy together doesn't make sense unless there's something in it for him. They talk about why Katie is with him. She says he came to her to keep him from drowning - and that's what she'll do. All the lies stop today - he's out of control! Bill insists it's about Liam's marriage - that's it. She tries to leave to tell everyone and Bill picks her up and slings her over his shoulder and locks her in the tower of the house!
At Forrester, Hope tells Thomas she is thinking about retiring. She shows him a letter she wrote about killing the Hope For The Future line. He says she can't do that, but she feels it's already dead. Thomas says it's their best selling line right now. Hope says she clearly has a lot to learn. Thomas urges her to talk to him. She questions if he's given her any reason to believe she can open up to him. They bicker about him going along with Steffy in Cabo. Thomas says he's not her puppet, and he wanted to spare her seeing Liam there. Hope says lying didn't spare anyone. She calls him out about his reputation, asking if he had hoped to get her into bed in Cabo. Thomas is offended.
In Ramon's office, he takes Steffy in for her MRI, while Liam waits. Liam calls in to work, and then looks at photos of Hope on his phone. He flashes back to the good times. Suddenly, Hope calls to ask if there is any news about Steffy. Liam says she seems the same and insists she feels fine. He tells her a funny story about his childhood. When Steffy returns to the room, Hope hears her and hangs up. Ramon says he'll call with the results. Liam tells Steffy that Hope called to see how she's doing. Steffy says she's amazing thanks to him.
