Liam wonders why Steffy's disappearing, Katie and Bill debate about Hope, and Thomas makes an admission to Hope.
On the beach in Cabo, Steffy tells Thomas they have to keep Liam and Hope from realizing they're at the same resort. She says she'll help Thomas make Hope his before the trip is over. They agree to stay on separate sides of the resort.
At the Cabo restaurant, Liam tells the waiter he'd planned to come there last summer with his girlfriend. He thinks about Hope. Liam's phone rings - it's Bill. Liam tells him he doesn't know where Steffy is right now.
Thomas joins Hope by the resort pool. Nearby, Steffy sets something up and texts Thomas. He reads the text and tells Hope he has a surprise for her. Steffy gets a call from Bill asking why she's disappearing on Liam. She tells him that Hope and Thomas are there.
Katie enters Bill's office as he hangs up the phone. Assuming it was Liam, she muses that he's probably still thinking of Hope - even in paradise with Steffy. Bill leaves and when he returns, Katie continues to needle about Hope and Liam. Bill muses that Hope will probably end up with Thomas. Katie says Hope's heart belongs to Liam and always will. Bill kisses Katie to change the subject.
On the beach, Hope is stunned to see refreshments for two set up and a mariachi band playing. A card says, "All my love, Thomas." Steffy watches and smiles. They lay on a beach blanket and listen to the music.
Still in the restaurant, Liam waits for Steffy. She appears and perches on his lap, saying she's been arranging something. Liam wants to head down to the beach. He spots the mariachi band, but Steffy convinces him to go elsewhere. She rushes off to meet Thomas, and they bicker about his plans with Hope for the night. Thomas arranges for a romantic dinner on the patio.
Steffy joins Liam in their suite, where he questions her disappearances. She admits she's keeping something from him. She tells him to close his eyes. When he opens them, she's ready with a massage table and says she's been busy taking lessons. He gets on the table and she talks about what her tip should be, whispering, "Cha cha cha..."
Thomas seats Hope on the patio as the sun sets. He says he wants this to be a dinner they'll remember for the rest of their lives. Hope tells him he's sweet. Thomas deflates and says he knows she's not over Liam, but he won't let that stop him - they can have something special too. He says he loves her.
