    Ivy and Ally. (CBS)
"The Bold and the Beautiful" for the week of July 28 - August 1:

"B&B" gave us lots of drama and conflict leading up to the Monte Carlo and Paris remotes next week. Thoughts:

    Empty meaningless words.
Well, it seems like everyone from Ridge to Deacon to Katie has Bill's number - he's not really sorry he dumped Ridge in the drink, he's just sorry he got caught. Regardless, Bill kept trying to finesse his way back into Brooke's good graces. Some believe Bill needs to grovel (at the very least), and others are turned off by Bill begging and subscribe more to Alison's viewpoint - that Bill should walk away and see if Brooke comes crawling back. Hmm.

    Poison Ivy?
Ivy clearly has an agenda, but has been very subtle about it so far. Her forthright manner is definitely refreshing. It remains to be seen if she will pursue her own ends in similar ways to Steffy, or if she'll be an entirely different sort of brunette schemer.

Can they please have Ally move on from her obsession with Hope, now that she's dating and has a life of her own? Not only is it creepy, but it makes it that much more difficult to justify Oliver being involved with her. Sure she gazes at him adoringly, but if the rest of the time she's snooping, glaring, lecturing, and generally being uptight and judge-y, where's the appeal?

    Ultimatum. (CBS)
    No more gossip.
Early in the week Liam told Wyatt snidely, "You'll always have your jewelry." Well that remark came back to bite him in the ass a little bit. Wyatt offered Hope the diamond and despite Liam's histrionics and even an ultimatum, she accepted it and refused to give it back. Wyatt may have been playing the last card he had at his disposal by gifting Hope with the bauble, but the irony is that it wouldn't have gotten him anywhere if Liam hadn't reacted the way he did. It seems Hope and Liam need to sit down and write out a list of rules they each have to follow to be in a relationship - on a couple mega-rolls of paper towels. The specifics regarding Steffy and Wyatt alone would be mind-boggling.

    Down that dark path.
So, Quinn is back after a remarkably short time in treatment. But was she really in a facility? As Hollie noted in last week's blog, something about how Quinn left for the loony bin was unsettling. As it turns out, she may actually have been in Mexico murdering Ricardo and doctoring up his will. Yike.

    Deserves a shot?
The best of the week was Deacon and Bill going head-to-head at Brooke's house...oh the insults and one-liners were delicious. Most have learned to stop trying to figure out why all the men want Brooke, but add Deacon to the list because apparently that's why he came back. That kiss was the icing on the cake of some seriously snappy scenes. So how will Brooke choose? Should she try to get back with rugged and romantic Ridge, give dark and dangerous Bill another chance, or rekindle the smoking-hot attraction she once shared with devastating Deacon? Decisions, decisions. Let us know what you think by voting in's B&B Poll: Brooke's Men.

Deacon was more like the old Deacon byweek's end. Hope Brook doesn't go there. Quinn obviously did not go to a rehab facility. Wyatt seems to think his mom is involved in Ricardo's death. Wyatt was aggressive at FC his first days back. He is cocky and cannot be trusted by Liam. Hope is going to screw up her relationship with Liam or marry him to prove she is not being manipulated by Wyatt. Ivy sure rides the fence, first falling on one side then the other. Guess she took lessons fro Donna. Think she could be subtle trouble.can't stand Bill and just can't see Ka5ie and Ridge making it to the.altar. Does Liam know of Bill's part in Ridge's disappearance?

Brooke would be an idiot for going back to Bill, especially because it's obvious he's not geniuinely sorry for what he did to Ridge. I will say as much as I didn't like them together in the past,Brooke and Deacon hooking up again would be interesting. Especially with Hope being an adult now and it would make for a great opportunity for Bridget to come back and put her two cents in about it.

Liam made mistakes but he is the one who deserves better now. What kind of show is this..entertainment with a conscience or giving even more to already very sick minds out there! There is no more Hope for the Future left! The cameras just portay the young, dumb blonde image with nothing to offer! Wyatt and Hope can play house while Liam finds someone(perhaps Ivy) who is intelligent, is beautiful and has her own mind not manipulated by every man who walks in her door. You desperately need new writers! There is not one stable relationship to look up to anymore. Wyatt is following in his mother's footsteps! She kills the owner of the diamond and now Wyatt wants her to go away! Please do I am so fed up with her. She is following in her mother's footsteps. Does Brook does not have the strength to tell people to mind their own business. If I was Katie I would be pretty insecure !Now Deacon is in the picture..yet another loser. This program is now a complete waste of half an hour! reading a good book, working or spending time outside would be all better than watching what has turned into absolute trash!

I am so disappointed with this week's B&B. Just when it looked like we were going to see some integrity and grown-up behavior, it all reverts to the same old junk and some new worse junk. (1) Ivy quickly becomes some sort of unlikeable busybody - who should care about a public embrace? and does she know these people well enough to get involved? I guess we are going to find out she thinks her dad was cheated by the family or something and get revenge (yawn)(2) Quinn comes back too soon with MURDER hanging over her? I'm disgusted. This show never relied on evil and violence before - EVER - what's the stupid deal?(3) Liam is acting like an immature fool again just as I was sort of liking him and Hope and rooting for Wyatt to move on. I hate his pompadour hair too.(4) Wyatt forgot to be grateful and appreciate his "bro" awfully fast. I hate his stick up hair too. (5) Agree about Ally glaring, acting like 7th grade and being generally unappealing. And somebody tell her to stop delivering her lines too fast. (8) Why is Maya at board meetings? She has no place there and, (9) again, why is Ridge never at board meetings. (10) Brooke, oh Brooke, who cares who she follows her, um, heart, yeah heart, with this time? Maybe it should be Deacon. Deacon is the only person who came off real and solid all week. How weird is that? I guess the writers think their audience is just not interested in integrity and good people with rational reasons for the things they do. Can't the floating heads of Bob and Kim from As The World Turns appear and tell these people how to live?

Oh yeah and I forgot to say - will they please stop treating that diamond like a bag of potato chips? Wyatt keeps it in his pocket or his gym bag and hands it around (even at a press conference) NOT in a beautiful display case or even box - just from hand to hand so the chain can get knots in it- how stupid - and no security whatsoever!

Liam should take Hope and leave for a month without telling anyone, because if they don't Wyatt and Quinn will do something to mess up their relationship. When they return they should be happily, happily married, that will put an end to Wyatt obsession with Hope, and he shouldn't go after a married woman.

I agree 100% with lovelylovebug. It is Hope and Liams time to be happy. So tired of Wyatt and his mom. If they don't let Hope and Liam marry and be happy finally I am so done watching.

I agree 100%! I am completwly fed up with the never ending gibberish called vocabulary and relationships when it is neither. Hope has been put in reversal when I thought that finally this "Hope for the Future" image she supposedly was promoting and the person were one and the same but no such luck. When one seems to be maturing, the other is playing back in kindergarten. What has happened to the dressof Hope which instead of promoting this young adult image in a "world" class haute couture now has turned into the tight little dress, too, short, too tight with close ups of this faceless image of someone who appears now to not be able to think for or the maturing role of Liam. Like someone else said, I have said too many times I am fed up with the on-going nonsense of this program when we need something which provides role models. There are no role models. Maya is there..why? Brooke just stares brainlessly as everyone tells her how to live her life in her home as she says nothing. The worst was when Ridge was just demanding that she leave Bill right then, on and on, in her living room and all she could do was stare. B & B, you desperately need new writers or you are finished!Who is your audience supposed to be anyway? In any event, you have lost them, no matter who they may have been. You have had so many chances to come up with something new, role models for different ages but instead it is just the same old boring story. By the way, get rid of Quinn now! She serves no purpose whatsoever on any program other than showing people how to manipulate relationships. This program is a mess! Too bad!

Hey lovely bug I agree with you as far as Hope and Liam should go away together and get married and then go back to L.A. and have their reception with the family.
