    Going for round two? (
B&B Breakdown For the Week of April 6!

Another solid week for B&B! I guess the writers have realized we need a break from all the Rick/Steffy drama and are in desperate need of some levity and other stories. In last week’s poll, 51% of you said your favorite thing about last week was that there was less of the duo. Apparently the writers predicted we would need some change.

So instead of the star-crossed, or manipulated, couple (depending on how it’s played for the week), we got more of Owen flirting with both Bridget and Jackie (which was hot on both accounts), Nick and Taylor teaming up to convince Stephanie to work for Jackie M and Stephanie telling Eric and Donna off.

I really enjoyed Nick and Taylor’s scenes together and am interested in seeing if they might explore this more. Jackie keeps warning Katie about Nick and Bridget, but should Katie really be concerned about Nick and Taylor? I wouldn’t mind a Nick/Taylor redux if it’s kept light and fun. Taylor could certainly use some joy in her life and Nick sparks a whole heck of a lot more with Taylor than he does with Katie. I don’t know about you, but his scenes with Katie were a bit of a let down for me after all the other fun we were treated to. It became even more obvious to me that they need to break this couple up stat!

I was all about Stephanie’s, “I am woman hear me roar” speech to Eric at Il Giardino, however, I think they should show Eric looking a bit more like a man than he does lately. I get that his relationship with Donna was originally based on sex and they still have a great sex life, but it’s kind of gross and I think it should be more than just about that. They should have real discussions and maybe be seen working together, instead of just parading around town fondling each other and pouring honey all over each other, because right now, Eric just looks like the dirty old man Stephanie accuses him of being and that doesn't do much for this legacy character. Especially if the fans are supposed to take him and Donna seriously.

    Finally! (
There’s not a whole lot to report on the Owen front except that I’m still loving him. His chemistry is off the charts with both Jackie and Bridget and it’s fun to watch. I just hope this triangle of sorts is kept fresh and naughty, because it’s definitely a highlight!

Even though the week heavily focused on other things, it ended with Rick picking out a wedding spot for his and Steffy’s nuptials, which I actually enjoyed. I feel like I finally got the scene I have been waiting for! Rick made it clear while he was with Steffy through his tone of voice and side-glances to Ridge that he is trying to get under his stepdad/brother's skin. He wasn’t just all lovey dovey like he usually is with Steffy, he also made it seem as if he’s up to something, which finally matches up with what he’s been saying to Ridge and finally made me enjoy his underhandedness.

However, Steffy’s behavior around Ridge is a little inappropriate I think. She has to know that even though he gave her a wedding dress, Ridge doesn’t really want her to marry Rick, yet she hangs all over him right in front of her father. I would think she would be uncomfortable doing that and would try to be a little more sensitive to Ridge’s feelings by watching how she interacts with his nemesis. It seriously annoys me.

I think next week will be fun with Stephanie starting work at Jackie M. I feel like the writing is in tune with the seasons and we’re coming out of the long, depressing, cold winter and jumping into the long awaited sunny, happy spring where things are popping and starting to look up. I welcome more of it!

It was nice seeing Taylor and Stephanie being friends like the old days.

If we can finally wrap up the Steffy/Rick nonsense, the show will be fun to watch.

Nicki and Katies days are limited.

    You did good Lori.

Good round up on the week Lori.

I would like for this Rick/Steffy thing to come to some sort of conclusion, but it is a soap opera. I loved Stephanie! I have always been a fan of hers. She is just as firey as she was back when this soap began. I wish Ridge would come up with his own plan for Rick. He use to could devise up some stuff, like Stephanie, now he just looks like a pissed off old man. Nick and Katie are boring. Brooke was always the most exciting Logan sister. Donna and Katie to me are time fillers. Anyway, I am glad the writers are going in this direction for now. I hope they give Taylor something exciting to do. I won't mind another Taylor/Ridge/Brooke fiasco, with a twist and throw in Nick or have Taylor suddenly get in on the Jackie/Owen/Bridget triangle. Oh well, we'll see.

    Great Job Lori!
    Happy Easter!

I wonder how Stefanie children will take her working for Nick, since there has been so much bad blood between them
Since they are both in the same business if the join company look at the impact they could make. Now Stefanie, Bridge and Owen are working for Nick, Eric is going to have to questioned whether his marriage to Donna is worth it.
Stefanie and Pam has treated Donna as the rest of the family , I can understand Donna striking out, but when times being hard she needs to concentrate more on building the company.

Watching how Rick acted on Friday, he really show his true self. I have come to the conclusion that Rick hatred for Ridge is so great that I believe he only went with Taylor because she was once marry to Ridge. He caused Taylor to give her baby to Brooke because he knew it would caused problems for Brooke and Ridge. He really is a man Phyllis Newman. He seemed to get such a kit out of hurting Ridge, knowing how much Ridge hates him.
Now that I put this man plans to use Steffie just to get back at Ridge, I hope Steffie will opened her eyes before it to late.Ridge was really right about Rick and Brooke can't smell the coffee. He used all these women, telling them how much he loved them , Ashley. Taylor ,Phoebe and Steffie. I don't feel sorry for Stephanie she has been a witch for too many years, but it was funny how they both blamed the Log-ans for all their problems.
