    Not a Forrester. (CBS)
"The Bold and the Beautiful" for the week of March 31 - April 4:

No complaints this week - lots of "B&B" boardroom intrigue, a toned-down Ally, and more Oliver than we've had in a long while. Thoughts:

    Can't get enough.
Bill's campaign to win Brooke back definitely got on more solid ground this week, despite Quinn hiding in the closet with a flogger. Luckily for him she is keeping quiet...for now. How long can that last?

    Creative differences.
How much of a brute did Ridge look like when he fired our sweet Oliver? Ally might have set fire to Ridge's head if Eric hadn't reversed the decision. As Oliver repeatedly reminded us, he's not a Forrester, but maybe that's why we love him. I don't get Oliver's interest in Ally, however their interaction at Bikini was kind of cute. Most entertaining was Maya getting an eyeful while dining with old cardboard Carter and sniping about Ally being too young. That girl was jelly! What's your opinion on Oliver's love life? Vote in Soaps.com's B&B Poll: Who should Oliver date?

    Eric's way. (CBS)
    Get to sketchin'.
Wow, the gall of Ridge showing up after missing how many meetings because he was too busy dealing with his love life, and demanding to be put in charge again. It may be a given that he runs the company best, but his arrogance about it has never been all that appealing. Anyway, his firing of Oliver and subsequent expectation that he would be made president again made for some entertaining scenes. Among the best was Caroline's defense of her hubby by getting in Ridge's face. Nice to see her being such a spitfire! In the end, it seemed to be Brooke's revelation to Eric that Ridge had taken up with Katie, that spelled Ridge's undoing. While the logic of choosing a president or CEO of a company based on who is sleeping with whom is lost on most of us, it seems to make perfect sense to Eric. As for Katie, she showed up and accused Brooke of manipulating in order to get to work closely with Ridge. Her line about Brooke giggling and her clothes falling off was gold. Yes, lots of controversy and confrontations in the boardroom - loved it.

It was great to see more of Oliver. I wonder if he will try to sweep Ally off her feet and marry her (and keep Maya on the side?) so he can be a Forrester of sorts? There was a lot of mention about who was, and was not, a Forrester this week. He has never been the manipulative type but you never know. I wonder how Hope would react if he and Ally start dating, or how Ally would react if she finds out Sir Lancelot did the vertical mambo with Auntie Brooke?

I wonder if they are bringing Massimo or other Marones back considering that Ridge's paternity was raised (yet again, I wish they would all get over it) this week.

Ridge stomping his baby feet and then not getting his way this week was highly amusing. Interesting that Eric is channeling his inner Bill Spencer by demanding his son run his love life the way daddy wants him to. We'll see how that goes.

If Brooke still has those signed papers regarding the running of Spencer Publications and the custody of Will, Katie had better be nicer to her big sister, or Katie will be sorry when Brooke turns on her. I do love Heather Tom, she is brilliant no matter what the emotion.

Gee whiz, how about that Eric? We know he has had plenty of affairs over time, and left Stephanie a few times, but he is telling Ridge he HAS to be with Brooke? I guess he is susceptible to her giggling, because he was so very kind to her when she wanted him to take credit for Bill's baby (though he did not do it). And how about that Maya? What a dishonest person - she seems to want anyone but Carterand is not honest enough to say so and act accordingly.

Aunti M is very glad they cooled off Allie's vitriol - please keep it that way - it was awful to watch and just seemed to be pointing to a story line where she tries to kill him or something. UGH. She is the latest recipient of the Marlena's Glowing Eyes award. And knock it off with the floating head.

And, yes, Liam and Steffy are great - let that be. Wyatt and hope are fun - leave that alone. When was she great with Liam? When he watched them make out in her driveway (Oh, that was just a goodbye kiss") Sure it was. When he showed up like a moron after going to the playground with Steffi all night before one of their weddings? When she was trying to wait for marriage and he was drooling over pictures of Steffi in he skivvies? Hope rightly knew in her heart that Liam loves her, but he loves Steffi just that much more.

Back to Ridge - Thorsten Kaye is really making the part his own for sure. It's going in directions it never has before. You gotta admit it's interesting

I am seriously getting tired of these writers re-writing history. Yes, Ridge went about things a little arrogantly, I cannot deny that. But, he is right - he deserves the title. He has been the backbone of FC for YEARS - his whole life. I am so tired of these writers trying to 'sanctify' Brooke or something. And Eric? What a pathetic IDIOT! Brooke has shamed the Forresters continuously!! Plus, Rick is not exactly innocent, either. And, Ridge is not married to Brooke and did not cheat; he just left her. Honestly, this is just too much. I would love to see Ridge and Katie have the last laugh on this one, because Ridge DOES deserve the presidency. Like him or not, you cannot take that away from him. And, him and Katie together...magic! I hope that Quinn will be up to some good mischief!
