    So great... (CBS)
"B&B" Breakdown for the week of January 13 - 17:

This week "B&B" had some irritating storylines happening as time inched toward February sweeps. Thoughts:

The cowboy and the stable girl.
While the details of Pam and Charlie's bedroom shenanigans verged on 'too much information', the comic relief was absolutely appreciated in this awful plot of Liam trying to get one over on Wyatt as the never-ending quest to make Hope see the light and pick him continued. It's at the point where many are cheering for baddie Quinn out of sheer frustration with Liam for keeping this thing going. The Hope love triangle stuff has become akin to banging the collective heads of viewers against a brick wall.

    Beach house bingo.
Meanwhile, down at Wyatt's new beach house, he and Hope had a giggly love-in which consisted of interminable conversation about how great she is, how great he is, and how great they are together. At one time, Wyatt seemed to have such potential, but he's clearly drank too much of the Hope Kool-Aid. What should Hope do? Let know your opinion by voting in our B&B Poll: Should Hope move in with Wyatt?

    Sad situation. (CBS)
    Consolation prize.
Though some have pointed out that Katie isn't in a position to be quite so self-righteous given her past with Nick and Bridget, it was nonetheless satisfying to see her shoot Bill down when he came looking to reconcile. The other good thing about it is that Brooke, who is now so terribly concerned about Katie's happiness and Bill and Katie's family, isn't getting things her way just yet. One aspect of this that doesn't ring true is Bill taking orders from Brooke and not running the show his way.

    Stink of superiority.
The Bill/Ridge face-off was fairly entertaining although it made Bill look as though he was grasping at straws a bit, and again, it may be what he deserves right now, but it's not a good look for him.

    Moment of crisis.
Rick would be far more appealing as a high-powered executive if he was more about action and less about whining and waiting to see what Daddy will do.

    Lost to me.
Katie running out of Brooke's house into Ridge's arms sure seemed like foreshadowing. This is going to happen.

Was happy to see more of Katie and Ridge so sick of all the other story lines . The only stroy line that worth watching is Ridge and Katie . Their both very strong actors and seem to be the best part of the show .

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...... (not the blog, the show)

Just can not get my thoughts around Katie and Ridge together. It was bad enough to follow that line of Brooke and Bill and now that that seems to be over, please no more swapping of partners. I truly can not imagine that there are many viewers who really enjoy this type of story line. Surely there must be a lot more creative plots that can be applied for viewers' enjoyment/entertainment. A burning question ......why are there so many loose ends in these plots/story lines that never seem to get tied up, and lies never exposed? When the mysteries are solved, it sure adds to the viewing pleasure.

Hope is so passive in these kissing sessions with Wyatt, it is likened to the lamb to the slaughter and the sheep before her shearers, is dumb. And mommy/matchmaker Quinn continues to do all the conniving to keep them together while all Wyatt can do is to trash talk Liam to make him look good... remember the same approach was used by Steffi to trash talk Hope to sway Liam her way. Where did merit go?

Katie and Ridge are like a breath of fresh air. Chemistry jumps off my screen, and the acting is wonderful. So very tired of Hope with ANYONE. Wyatt is as sickening as she is. Drooling over each other, and Liam trying to get her back? Why? Please move on with these stories. Liam, let that little, foolish girl go. And Brooke? Amazing how she is so confident that if she tells Bill what to do, or tells Ridge she wants him back, it will happen. She really needs to find out differently. Time to take her down but good. And Katie, stay strong. You are so much better than your selfish sister and egomaniac husband deserve.

Hello? Is there a non-publicized writer's strike going on? like, when was it - the '80's? I have not seen such dithering and go-nowhere-ism since then and I have a high level of tolerance for my (now one-and-only) soap. Ask my husband as he walks by - I rarely fast forward, but I did this week. Liam needs to spend some time at work and at growing up. Hey, he was an IT geek who got a job in publishing overnight. He needs to be learning stuff. Hope is too young for this relationship with more holes than a slice of genetically-modified Swiss cheese. Wyatt is cute and I am rooting for him but mom is starting to be too weird. Please don't go there. I realize we need to fill the void left by Stephanie and her master manipulations, but you are making Quinn change from a strong and intriguing business woman to a witch (Donna even said that) who is only a few steps away from Marlena's glowing eyes. Did you find them in the prop room and got a good deal on them? Go back to basics and remember what makes a character interesting and someone you want to follow - it isn't creepiness. As for NuRidge, he may not be wicked handsome like Ronn, but he is stronger and cooler and has depth. Also - face it - he looks like someone who is "really" Massimo's son. Also - Celtic Woman are wonderful and I love the way you worked them in, but the last time I checked, "Douglas" was Scottish eyes are smiling.

I am so sick of the writers not going through with liam and hopes wedding these two should have been together, when I dvr this show I fast forward past the scenes of hope and wyatt he reminds me of the seed of chuckie,so not cool to keep screwing her and liam. They are my favorite couple next to brooke and ridge.

I love the new Ridge and I love him and Katie's chemistry together on the show!
I really hope that Ridge will NOT return to Brooke! I am so tired of watching her have way all the time. It would be wonderful to see the tables turned, FOR ONCE!!
And, I do not care in the least bit for the Hope-Trio. SO fed up of this storyline!! Only good thing about it is watching Quinn terrorize everyone, LOL!

If the show is about Hope/Liam/Wyatt I don't watch.
