    What'cha gonna' do? (CBS)
"B&B" Breakdown for the week of December 16 - 20:

It was a week of classic "B&B" type stories with Ridge's return and another aborted attempt at a Hope/Liam wedding. Fun!

    Revved up and ready.
Well, watching Eric and Ridge reunite and rehash all the lame nonsensical reasons Ridge dumped Brooke, missed his mother's death, and stayed in Europe, was all fine and good, but what viewers were really waiting for was the reunion of Ridge and Brooke. It didn't disappoint. Although it was a tad sappy to repeat the rose petal in the water scenario, NuRidge had me at 'Logan' what with the electrically-charged moment on the stairs and the knee-wobbling kiss. Very hot. It's also delightfully soapy how he assumed Brooke's life has basically been at a standstill without him and announced that he wants to essentially move back in and pick up where they left off. "We'll celebrate later." Such confidence! It will be interesting to see how he reacts to the news of Dollar Bill having moved in on his territory, and indeed, how Bill reacts to the reappearance of Ridge. Testosterone central!

    Good news.
Who else just wanted to throttle Quinn in the Paris office? Not only did she listen to Steffy's call, but she didn't even give her space afterward, just started right in pushing her agenda. Overbearing much? Such a turn-off, which is exactly how we're probably supposed to feel about Quinn at this point - so bravo!

    Whisper, whisper.
It was a kick seeing Donna and Eric whisper-chatting about Ridge's return and what it would mean for Brooke - love Donna and Eric together. Also, they individually cornered Brooke to grill her about whether she's told Ridge anything about Bill, or Bill anything about Ridge yet. Plus, Brooke had to contend with Bill sidling up to her and talking about how the next wedding will be theirs. Brooke must have been just gritting her teeth. Hilarious.

    Not again! (CBS)
    To Hope and Liam.
The gathering of folks waiting for Liam and Hope to attempt marriage for the umpteenth time was pretty entertaining - in large part due to Pam and Charlie's antics. Is that guy her soulmate or what? So glad Oliver was there too, he's such a cutie. Needs a storyline... I wondered why Hope wouldn't have invited Thorne and Ally? Or maybe she did and Ally stayed away in protest since she doesn't like the way Hope operates. Too funny.

    Dark cloud lifted.
As Steffy flew back to tell Liam her good news, it seemed to me that she would only be there long enough to throw a monkey wrench into the works, so it was no real surprise how it played out. Wouldn't it have been fun if Steffy had left the cabin, gone back to the Forrester jet, and decided to go to Hawaii with Wyatt for kicks? Imagine Hope's face if she'd showed up at the jet only to find Steffy there as well. "Arghhhh!"

    Rock and roll.
Hope showing up on the plane, leaving Liam to face the wrath of Brooke, was kinda' fun. Wyatt was a ball of confusion, relief, and happiness all mixed together. It was cute how he admitted he really wasn't sorry. Going on vacation with a tearful girl who had just run from the altar may not be ideal, but clearly he was up for it. Who wants to bet Liam will be hot on their heels? It will be Mexico all over again. What should happen next? Let Soaps.com know by voting in our B&B Poll: What next for Hope/Liam/Wyatt?

    Get some new Writers!

It's too bad that Hope and Liam are not going to end up together because they deserve each other. Liam acted like a total brat demanding that Hope fire Quinn Artisan and break their legal contract. And Hope acted like a spoiled baby allowing Wyatt to kiss her in intimate places in a steam room, telling him she loved him and wants to see him and be "friends" and yet running away (again) without asking any questions (again) after seeing a completely properly dressed Liam speaking to a completely properly dressed Steffy. Not kissing, not in a steam room, just talking. Ugh.

Quinn is the female Bill. If the two of them pair up, LA had better watch out.

Ridge is not confident, he is arrogant. He didn't ask Brooke one question. For all he knew, she could be married! And I know the writers were in a bind with the character, but they could have done a little better with Ridge's explanations about why he didn't come home when his own mother died. She would not have wanted him to see her "that way?" But it was okay for everyone else to see her that way? Anyway, it will be interesting to see how he feels when the Bill story comes out. Will he feel the same way about Logan, or will he get on the highest horse?

Love Pam and Charlie and their matching aprons. They need to be in every episode.

Yep it was the umpteenth time Liam and Steffy have screwed up Hope's" perfect" wedding. So WTH couldn't we have seen her go to the cabin and slap the chit out of both of them instead of running away like a child? But at least we didn't have to watch him roll around in bed with his ex wife on his wedding day to Hope and expect her to forgive him. I do hate the fact that they made Steffy think her only worth to a man is whether or not she can pop out babies for him.

LOL, now I wish Steffy had been on the plane when Hope showed up. To be honest, I actually don't mind the idea of a Steffy/Wyatt pairing, they would be interesting to watch together.

Think the new Ridge will work out anything is better than Ronn Moss. Hope how many almost weddings? Didn't even feel the need to think of anyone but herself, but she is Brooke's daughter only difference she doesn't sleep with everyone YET!
The role if Katie has much more interest than Brooke.
Oh Eric are you going to tell Ridge that Brooke put the moves on you?? Donna why don't you care that she did?

Posted by Realismreality at Saturday, December 21 2013 01:52 PM

I am with Abemom, why didn't Donna have a problem with Brooke putting the moves on Eric? This new Ridge is definitely NOT a looker, is that the best you could come up with?? Enough with immature, juvenile Liam, he and Hope are boring together. So unrealistic about Eric allowing her to cancel the Quinn contract, business does not work that way and it makes them look amateurish and unprofessional.

Ridge had got to look at Brooke as sludge when he finds out about Bill! Can you give Katie a spine and guts about herself, and give her some lines that are not so limp!

Quinn is a devoted mother looking out for her son, give her a break! Steffy is supposed to be a savvy business woman who is a wimp with Liam!

I had enough hope keep running its always something in there way had it not watching any more dont understand it

Now that you have a new Ridge the idea that Brooke moves on is great. Especially now i can't imagine them together again. Besides Brooke and Bill make a great couple. Hope and Wyatt come on now!! I know Katie was going threw some things but come on your actions have consquences and she needs to open her eyes and come back to the here and now and not keep looking back at her poor pitful me routine.I used to really like Katie but she just wants to dwell on when she was young woman that wasn't this or that. Beauty is only skin deep. Ridge and Katie deserve each other!! Why not put Eric and Donna together without the honey.lol
