"The Bold And The Beautiful" and "The Young And The Restless" alum Adrienne Frantz (ex-Amber Moore) shared the personal tragedy that she and her husband Scott Bailey faced this week. On Facebook and Twitter Frantz disclosed how she learned about the loss of her baby during her recent ultrasound.
Via a public letter Frantz shared the elation at the unexpected news when she first learned she was pregnant followed by the recent discovery of the disappointing fact that her baby had died. She praises her husband and is thankful for her supportive family and friends. She expressed to others, "I am sharing this so that anyone who has gone through such an experience knows that they are not alone! Losing a baby is the hardest thing anyone can go through in their life! I now know the pain and how horrific it all is!"
According to the Office on Women's Health, as many as 10 - 15 percent of confirmed pregnancies are lost. Frantz's strength in sharing her experience will hopefully reach those suffering through similar circumstances. Her honest and kind expressions of grief and hope can be read on Twitter @adriennefrantz.
