In this week's "The Bold And The Beautiful" Throwback Thursday Soaps.com takes readers back to the early 1990s when Thorne Forrester did something other than play second fiddle to his brothers in the fashion business…
Bill is no longer working at Spencer Publications and has taken up a new hobby to occupy his free time. Years ago, Thorne (then played by Jeff Trachta) didn't spend all his time working at Forrester and had a singing career. Thorne and Macy were attracted to each other from the get-go. Even though their families were business rivals, they married, but the rivalry became too stressful and led to a separation.
Both dated different people during their separation, then got back together, but ultimately divorced due to outside forces and their separate connections to them all. Thorne left for Paris with Brooke but returned for his sister-in-law Taylor's funeral. Macy and Thorne realized that they couldn't let go of their past together and reconnected as good friends. They were both signed by Decadent Records and began singing and touring together. After a show in Rotterdam, Holland Macy collapsed, which led to her throat cancer diagnosis. Though Thorne gave up singing for quite some time, he left town for four months in order to take part in something that allowed him to showcase his voice.
