    Darla's sudden death.

In "The Bold And The Beautiful" history, July 18, 2006, Darla Einstein Forrester died as a result of complications from a substantial head trauma...

Darla Einstein's story began in foster homes having been moved around numerous times, which left her unsure where she belonged in life. One solid place in her existence was as Sally Spectra's assistant. In fact, Sally's family, which included Macy Alexander, became Darla's - a place where she felt loved. There were a few men in her life, including Bill Spencer and Clarke Garrison, but it wasn't until Thorne Forrester when Darla found true love.

After Darla and Thorne, who'd been with Macy, ended up in bed one night, she became pregnant and planned to have an abortion. Thorne found out and begged Darla to let him and Macy raise the baby as their own. As the story goes, Macy left Thorne for Deacon then died soon after. Darla named her daughter Alexandria, in honor of Macy, and ended up marrying Thorne.

Darla was Thorne's biggest supporter against his family, mainly Ridge. When Darla landed in hot water because of the constant brotherly feud, in the end Thorne stood by her no matter what. However, one fateful night, during their daughter's birthday party, Darla rushed to the aid of her niece Phoebe, who'd been stranded on the Pacific Coast Highway. Always willing to jump in and help, Darla tried to change Phoebe's flat tire but fell backwards while loosening a lug nut. Little did she know, Taylor, who'd been drinking, was also coming to her daughter's aid and ended up hitting Darla who fallen into the road. She died at the hospital soon after.

I have to say out of all the love stories on this show, Darla and Thorne were my favorite. She is the one person the show let go that I truly miss till this day. As Stephanie said...."She was the best Mrs. Forrester". She truly was.

Yes Thorne and Darla had a great love story and I was saddened when she was killed off.
