B&B Mail Bag: Hot Or Not!

    Making Steffy suffer (Soaps.com)
Fans tell us what they really think.

Soaps.com has been getting tons of emails from loyal fans who are upset about the current storylines. We decided to share some of the fans' thoughts on the show. Here are a few letters from our mailbag.

Landry says, "I am so sick of the Logans winning every time. Steffy should be with Liam. Why have the Forresters on the show if you are giving them the wrong end of the stick all the time? I'm tired of seeing it. This is my last time watching the show."

Dani says, "I'm writing to keep Sean Kanan on this soap! Looking forward to a really good storyline involving Steffy/Deacon/Brooke! Make it happen!"

Nancy says, "I have been a loyal fan of this program since its inception. I stuck it out until for the umpteenth time Brooke and Ridge finally got together this year or whenever it was. 'The Bold & the Beautiful' is the only soap I have been following for several years now. Now your writers are stuck in a rut without an interesting plot, are doing the same nonsense with Liam and Hope as they did with Brooke and Ridge. Well, if this is the plan, I'll quit recording this to watch and maybe check in once a month to see what nonsense is going on."

Jane T says, "Liam said today the he's done, well so am I. Get original!"

    Joe agrees, "Your writers stink."

    Like mother, like daughter (Soaps.com)
LM says, "The whole marriage escapade with Liam and Hope has spanned over a year and a half of real time. How weak and unresourceful your show's writers really are! They must be the worst of the worst and that is why your soap 'The Bold & the Beautiful' employs them!"

Alice S writes, "I have given up watching your soap on a daily basis and perhaps once a month tune in as I just know not much will have changed and neither will I have missed anything!'

Carol says, "Yesterday was the last day I'm ever watching 'B&B' and I've watched since the inception of the show. This thing you guys have going with making Taylor and now her daughter suffer over Brooke & now her daughter is sick and sad. Thanks for the good years of the show. If you would have had neither of the girls marry Liam that would have made it more interesting and not disappointing for anyone. Too bad!"

Sabrina rants, "I have been a loyal viewer since the show debuted 25 years ago. I was home on maternity leave when 'B&B' character, Ridge, appeared on the 'Price is Right' as a promotion for the show. I was hooked! However, I just witnessed something that made me extremely uncomfortable. Two women characters who were talking about the daughter they raised, and were about to embrace in a kiss. I immediately turned! For the life of me, I do not know why networks feel that interjecting gay couples is something that everyone wants to see. What does it really do for the ratings?! Therefore, I have come to a decision and have decided not to continue watching the 'Bold and the Beautiful.' This storyline has created more of a disruption for me than I care to take on. It is too much trouble hanging on the edge of my seat with the remote in my hand, ready to turn in order to avoid such an act. I don’t really believe that my concerns will make a difference to whoever reads it, but I felt compelled to share. It has been an entertaining 25 years, but this type of ‘entertainment is just not for me!"

B.J.i have been watching B&B for so long never seen it this bad B&B got steffy and hope looking like a fool behind liam thats not good.liam should stay marry to hope and steffy should be with Deacon now that will be a good show for every one. or let steffy be with some one els other then liam let steffy move and let go of this madness that B&B are putteing her through

I think both Steffy and Hope deserve someone better than Liam. This man is not ready to be married to anyone. His wife had to make the decision to end their marriage because he wasn’t man enough to own his choice, and to protect her step-sister from being hurt, she had to tell him to go through with the wedding.
I would like to see the Deacon, Brooke, Hope storyline explored more. While Brook likes to paint Deacon as the bad guy, she conveniently forgets she was Mother-in-Law of the year in this storyline, seducing her daughter’s husband in an attempt to end their marriage. It would do Hope good to see her mother for who she really is, maybe then she will stop taking relationship advice from her. It would be nice to see Bridget brought back in for this storyline to tell her little sister how she felt about her marriage before her mother slept with her husband. Deacon has never been a saint, but has tried many times to turn his life around. It would do Hope good to see how her father has struggled with the mistakes he has made. Unlike her mother who just moves on leaving the damage behind her.

I totally agree with the poster Landry. I've watched B&B off and on for years and just recently over the last few months to a year watching on a daily when I have time and that's because I've been sick of watching the Logans come out on top all the time. When will all of the Logan's lies come to light? Then there's Ridge, he's the worst father I've ever seen like Brooke is the worst mother. How about letting Taylor, Steffy, Thomas and other Forresters or other characters come out on top? Why not let the Logans get some good Karma because the fans are sick of the Logan show.

I have been watching this show, too, probably since it debuted. Like most of the posters here, I am in the same boat. I read up once or twice a week, but I never watch. It's a waste of time, even to read it. It's sad because this used to be an interesting show in the day -- Sally and Clark and her cast of characters, and even the old Amber and her pals. The fashion, and Stephanie and Etic. Now it's the Liam and his (stupid) ladies show. I don't know why anyone thinks Hope won this one, I would say she lost. Too bad, it used to be a decent show. Now it's a joke.

I used to be a loyal watcher. Now I record and most of the time delete the show without even watching. This Liam Hope Steffy triangle is by far the dumbest I have ever seen. Why either would want this fool is beyond me, and to see the parents getting in on the action appalls me. No mother in her right mind would want their daughter to be with a wingnut like Liam. I thought Ridge was pathetic with his wishy washy ways but this new breed is even worse. I can't believe they cancelled a great soap like Guiding Light and leave this drivel on the air

Steffy should not be with Liam. Liam is married to Hope now and that is how it's gonna stay cuz Liam had Hope first.

It is sad. This show has had so many talented actors on this show. All with great story line potential. Totally wasted, because this show has become The Logans Rule show. I for one am sick of it. There are other characters on this show!

Twin! I thought I was the only one that did skimmed through hoping to see something worth watching, only to find I have gone through the entire episode. At least with Ridge back and forth we saw great fashion shows, hot love scenes, and better dialogue. Now it is mindless drawn out dribble.

I think Hope and Liam should stay because he married her his character is not showing what a committment is and that's what young viewers need to know. Marraige is sacared this whole Brook and Taylor rewrite is just going to run everyone away from the show. Young viewers need to see what it takes to be married and be committed to one person. Liam chose to divorce Steffy so let it be.Hope character needs to be written more mature and tough you guys show her as weak. Steffy and Bill should be exposed she knew he was up to something she never said a word. I really think Hope should shine through this whole mess and show what a true Logan can do.

Let Hope and Liam be together, let this nonsense stop, it's repeating history and were tierd of it. Let's bring back Thorn's daughter, let her have a romance with Thomas and have her get back at Taylor for killing her Mom. Also, Steffy and Deacon should hook up, that would really upset Bill.
