According to a report by CBS Soaps In Depth, Joanna Johnson (Karen Spencer, "The Bold and the Beautiful") will be taking time away from the Daytime soap to fulfill her obligations as the producer of CW's new medical show, "Emily Owens M.D." While Johnson is unavailable for taping at "B&B," her storyline will be refocused. Crystal Chappell will continue to be seen as Karen's partner, Danielle, during Johnson's absence.
