    Diving board dance. (
    "B&B" Breakdown
    Week of April 9 - 13:

Even though Hope's struggles have made her more interesting as a character, it's fatiguing for viewers to have all the focus relentlessly on one person, which is what seemed to happen again this week on "B&B." Let's take a look:

    Pool party.
Any hopes viewers had of getting to know Caroline better were dashed when Hope showed up at the party, did a hoochie dance on the diving board, and then topped the day off by nearly drowning. Sure, we got to see a bit of Caroline and Rick flirting, but Rick's pick up lines were cheesy, and we were none the wiser about what makes Caroline tick. So far, she's been disappointingly straight-laced despite the racy exit from the limo when she first rolled into town. At least we can thank her for getting Thomas and Rick poolside this week - eye candy!

I've been keeping something from you!
Liam has to be the world's biggest idiot to have been surprised by Hope's revelation that she's been taking drugs. If the inappropriately loud laughter and lightheadedness didn't tip him off, you'd think the new vocabulary (chill out!) and stripper dancing would have! Too funny. In any case, predictably, it was fine for Hope to lie and keep a secret from him - just all the more reason to be supportive...

    Comic relief. (
    Steffy stepping stone.
The chemistry between Liam and Steffy is certainly more adult and more interesting than the high school/fairytale romance bit going on between Liam and Hope, but I feel so done with her waiting around on this guy. Even their conversations are about Hope, and her conversations with her mother and brother are about Hope. It's boring. Steffy needs to move on or take a new approach to the situation. Should Steffy move on? Vote in's Steffy’s situation poll.

    Dayzee danger.
Dayzee's little public service announcement about buying drugs over the internet was good advice. That said, it seemed like Dayzee was mothering/lecturing poor, stupid Amber, which did nothing for the appeal of either character.

    Cootie line.
The Donna and Pam stuff is a little over-the-top, but fun. Let's just pray they don't end up sitting at their half desks all day discussing Hope and Liam!

Hope is a TOTAL BORE. Doesn't matter how many words she says, it is all fast forward material when she says it.

Please let Steffy move on with her life. The part she has play has been makes me sick. Every man that she has suppose to be in love with has been with someone else. Please bring in another male for her. I am at the point I am ready to stop watching B&B.

The sillines between Pam and Donna has been overdone. The big pocketbook has appeared again to hide a pregnancy, Donna's of course. Are the writers just not going to mention Nick, Jackie, Owen, and the Jackie M company, hoping it will fade into the night? No exit storyline for these veterans? Did I miss something? Liam is Hope's speed and he is out of his league with Steffy. All she needs is a new toy to catch her eye and she will sign the annulment papers quickly or she might like the revenge she gets seeing Hope and Liam suffer in the tabloids. Where is the Beverly? Was she only hired for the design stealing episodes? That is like Jake. He pops in every couple of months. And he is on the payrole? Thorne is never seen. Taylor, when seen, offers poor advise to her constantly enabled daughter. The writers took a good hearted character and made her into a ditz.Glad the Caroline worshiping is over. There was way too much of this to build the storyline. Hope the writers are not doing a lesbian storyline. I will fastforward through all parts of it. If it is a forerunner, guess I will be missing the show. For all the viewers B&B might get for this, they will certainly lose some. Will it be worth it? For those who like it, watch the show. For those who don't, don't tune in. That is our right and only recourse.

I'm hoping and praying that the writers do something with Brooke. She is to much. Let Deacon come back and stir up some trouble for her because she makes me sick. can she mind her own business.
Writers when are you ever going to give Ridge a back bone. Who is running FC, Brooke or Ridge?
Pam and Donna needs to be just written off the show, they have no significant role and they are the two ditsiest woman ever. I always fast forward on them too. Terrible storyline writers.
