California Has A Lot To Offer. Friday, April 06 2012

Stephanie speaks with Caroline, Hope visits Dr. Barton, and Rick and Thomas vie for Caroline's attention.

At the Forrester mansion, Caroline tells Rick over the phone how incredible it is there. He says he'll be right over to put sunscreen on her back. Caroline goes inside where she talks to Stephanie about her late aunt. Stephanie says she made an impression on everyone she met. She then remarks on the impression Caroline's made on all the young men. Caroline laughs, "Rick?" Stephanie says she meant her hot grandson, Thom.

Rick is leaving Forrester and passes Brooke and Ridge. He says he's going to see Caroline, but Ridge says he hasn't okayed them working together. Rick remarks that they may not be working. Brooke giggles. Later, Thomas enters. Ridge realizes he's looking for Caroline. Thomas complains to Ridge about Rick having a line. Thomas thinks Eric was wrong to go over Ridge's head and approve it. Stephanie comes in and Ridge mentions Rick and Caroline having a meeting. Stephanie says she's at the pool. Thomas heads out. Ridge tells his mother he felt Caroline in the guesthouse when he was talking to her niece there. They discuss who Caroline should be with - they agree it's Thomas.

Hope tells Dr. Barton she came to her office to thank her for what she did. Dr. Barton is puzzled - she was upset with her last week. Hope says she knows now that she wants to help her. The doctor smiles and says she was concerned about giving her more of the addictive medication, but sees she won't have to worry about that with Hope. They discuss Hope's life. She says things are much better. Brooke arrives. She tells the doctor how outgoing and relaxed Hope was at the party and hugs her. Brooke lingers to discuss Hope after she leaves. Dr. Barton mentions that she only gave Hope two pills. Brooke says Hope seems to be good at working out her issues.

Rick arrives at the Forrester pool and joins Caroline on the loungers. He learns she didn't have time for boyfriends in New York, and tells her California has a lot to offer. Thomas arrives and asks Rick, "Shouldn't you be designing clothes with Amber?" Thomas doffs his shirt and Caroline checks him out. With neither guy budging, Caroline decides to have a party. She calls Hope and asks her to come by.

By the elevator at the doctor's office, Hope hangs up from Caroline and looks at her pills.

Hope arrives at the pool as Thomas and Rick are competing for Caroline's attention. She seems tense. Hope goes to change and wonders why she feels so strange.
