Hope and Liam are in the tabloids, Ridge makes demands, and Bill contacts Steffy.
At Forrester, Brooke asks Hope about the woman confronting her at Dayzee's. Hope says she couldn't defend what she was doing, but she won't let it ruin her happiness. Ridge enters with a tabloid showing Liam and Hope kissing and labeled, 'Hypocrite!'. Hope apologizes as Ridge agonizes over their PR nightmare. He demands Hope move out of Liam's house immediately. Brooke argues the point. Ridge says if she stays there this will be a train wreck. Hope and Ridge bicker after he refers to her 'shacking up with a married man'. Hope says she's just been so happy. Brooke soothes her. Ridge points out that Hope chose to represent a certain image with the company. Brooke thinks they should get Steffy to sign the annulment papers. Ridge tells Hope she needs to move home. Hope refuses.
Liam and Bill discuss business at Spencer. Bill asks how it's going with his new roommate. Liam says things have never been better. Alison appears with a tabloid. Liam tells Bill, "This isn't good." They debate the validity of the claim that Hope is a hypocrite. Bill says people love to tear down their idols. Liam wants to sue for libel. Bill says if he doesn't like being so exposed he should have been more aware. Bill says Spencer controls much of the mainstream media - they'll put their own spin on it as they break it there. Liam argues, but then agrees. Liam leaves to find Hope. Bill is astonished.
In Aspen, Steffy thinks about Liam. Her phone buzzes and she clicks on the link and sees the tabloid photo. She reads it, and then takes a follow-up call from Bill. Steffy remarks that it's like a traffic accident, and wonders why he sent it. Bill muses that it's an opportunity - he doesn't think Hope will hold up under siege. He tells her to hang in there and he'll keep her posted.
Liam arrives at Forrester and joins Hope, Brooke, and Ridge, who tells him sorry isn't going to cut it. Brooke says Ridge wants Hope to move out. Liam is glad that Hope refused. Ridge wonders if Liam has thought about his wife at all. Liam can't deal with that right now. Brooke and Ridge exit, and Hope asks Liam if what people are saying is right - is she the worst kind of hypocrite? Liam says she's done nothing wrong. Madison enters looking for Hope to make a statement. Liam suggests to Hope that they let Bill break the story in the mainstream media instead of a press conference. Hope gets upset and calls herself a fraud. He wonders where her kick-ass attitude from last night has gone. He says they'll handle this together.
