Stephanie assures Ridge that after this crisis is over, he and Brooke will be able to carry on with their lives. Eric shows up, asks how Jackie fell. However, before Stephanie can answer, Eric realizes exactly what must have happened. Stephanie goes on to explain what happened. Eric looks into Jackie's room, sees how upset Nick is.
Ridge pulls Brooke aside, tells her he knows that Nick is in a lot of pain, but he needs to know what Brooke's decision is. She can't talk about it now…
Ridge tells Stephanie that Nick is going to use this situation to lure Brooke back.
I Choose...
Ridge and Nick look to Brooke, asking which of them she's chosen. Just as Brooke is ready to give the men her answer, the phone rings… Ridge gets the news about Jackie. He hangs up, tells Nick there's been an accident involving Jackie, says they need to get to the hospital now! Brooke tells Nick she's going with him.
Ridge pulls Brooke aside, says that too many things have happened to them, that he wants her, needs her, that he can't wait any longer for her answer. Ridge kisses her, asks her to please tell him she's ready to be with him.
Another Accident?
Ridge comes in, tells Stephanie that he's going to Brooke's tonight to spend the evening with her.
When Brooke comes down the stairs, she finds Ridge in the living room. He seems confident that Brooke has chosen him. As he goes to kiss Brooke, Nick comes in, asks what Ridge is doing there. When Nick and Ridge start to argue, Brooke tells them that if they ever want to walk through her door again they better learn to get along. Brooke explains that the kids need both of the men in their lives. Nick and Ridge agree. Brooke goes on to say that her decision was very difficult. She tells each of them how much they've brought to her life. Brooke says her decision will be right for everyone…
A Solution
Brooke arrives home to find Ridge taking caring of the kids. He asks how things went with Nick. Brooke expresses that she set some ground rules with Nick and she'll do the same with Ridge, says that she never wants to come second best to another woman where Ridge is concerned, especially to Stephanie. Ridge says he's changed, that Brooke is the only one for him. He tells her they can finally be happy now. Brooke announces that tomorrow at 6:00pm, she'll have an answer for him and Nick. Ridge kisses her goodbye and leaves…
Please, One More Chance
Stephanie and Ridge talk about Jackie and Nick, wonder how far Jackie has gone to convince Brooke to stay with Nick.
Jackie goes to Taylor's to visit Phoebe and finds Ridge there. Ridge tells her that he's moving back in for the kids. Jackie blames Ridge, says that it's his fault that all this is happening with his family. Jackie tries to gloat, tells Ridge that Nick's having dinner with Brooke. However, Ridge informs Jackie that it's not going to be good news for Nick… Stephanie joins them, taunts Jackie at every turn. Ridge asks Stephanie to please stay in case Phoebe needs someone, says that he needs to finish packing his things.
