At Forrester Creations, Brooke tells Stephanie and Eric about Steffy. Rick walks in and suggests they get back to work. He shows them the designs and they are impressed. Rick doesn’t think there is cohesion with the stuff Ridge and Eric are working on. The new designs are not their usual style, but they love it. Rick says they can have full production at the end of the week. Stephanie says Ridge is the CEO and in charge of deciding what goes into production. Rick says they can’t drag their feet. He reminds them Eric used to make all the decisions before Ridge. He knows it is a risk, but fashion is in his blood and they are in no position to sit back and stay safe. He believes in the collection, and so does Eric. He welcomes Rick to the design team. Stephanie questions Rick’s newfound talent and wonders if she is the only one who is surprised.
The Bird Is Burned.
At the Forrester mansion, Ridge and Stephanie inform Felicia and Thorne that the Logan ladies are cooking since Pam won't be there. As Eric greets Taylor, Steffy notes Thomas isn't there and thinks he must be with Hope. Steffy cheerily greets Katie. Taylor pulls Katie aside and hopes she can try to treat Steffy like family. Taylor then tells Steffy she has to work at getting along with Katie. Ridge notes Steffy is beaming and hopes the new year will be a great one. As they embrace, Taylor smiles. Liam calls Bill to ask why he isn't coming to the Forresters. When he hangs up, a hovering Ridge wonders if he was talking to Hope. "You're married to Steffy, don't ever forget that," Ridge solemnly reminds Liam. Ridge wishes him a Merry Christmas and saunters off. Stephanie pulls Brooke aside and thanks her for celebrating Christmas with her after the year she put her through. Brooke tells her that she loves her and they have a lot of good to do in the world together. Stephanie begrudgingly admits she loves Brooke, too. Brooke squeals in delight and hugs her.
Back out in the living room, Hope and Thomas arrive with Dayzee and Marcus. Hope and Liam look wistfully at one another. Steffy wishes Hope a Merry Christmas and hopes they can get along, at least for the day. Hope wishes for the same thing. As the family gathers around the table, Ridge begs for them to bring out the bird. Brooke admits they burned the bird. Everyone is relieved when Bill arrives with a cooked turkey. Stephanie makes a speech about how fortunate she is to be there alive with all of them. She wonders why it took her so long to realize how great Brooke is. Eric asks for everyone to join hands and says a Christmas blessing about forgiveness. After dinner, the family gathers around the piano to sing Christmas carols.
Christmas Surprises.
At Pathways, Stephanie presses Beverly not to lose out on the opportunity she's offering and come back to Forrester. Stephanie says she's learned a great lesson from all of this, and appeals to Beverly to give it another chance.
At Forrester, Eric yells into the phone about finding the mole who stole their collection. He puts Madison on Pam's desk to field calls. Stephanie returns and tells Eric that Beverly listened to her, but may not have really heard her. Eric offers to do whatever he can. Stephanie wants to help the companies and organizations who assist the youth aging out of foster care. Eric decides to put Thomas on it. Stephanie continues to regret the way she behaved toward Beverly. Suddenly, Beverly is there. Stephanie hugs her.
Miracles Happen.
At Forrester, Ridge, Eric, Hope, and Stephanie talk about how strange it is not to be having their fashion show, and vow to find out who stole their designs. They wonder how they're going to get into the spirit of the season and bounce back. Eric notes that Ridge has already started on the next line. Hope and Stephanie talk about wrongly accusing Beverly. Eric reports that no one from Jackie M got into the building - it had to be one of their own who stole it. Ridge and Eric agree to keep their next designs at home. Stephanie frets about how insensitive she was toward Beverly. She notes they still have a lot to celebrate compared to the people she met this week. Hope wishes Beverly would come back. Eric wonders if Dayzee could help.
Stephanie finds Beverly at Pathways and asks her about the internship. She admits her perceptions were wrong, and says she's in awe of those at the facility. Beverly lets her in.
Family Bonding.
At Forrester, Hope and Stephanie discuss the young adults who age out of the foster care system, and Beverly. They vow to figure out who really stole the designs. Hope frets, and they get to talking about Steffy's marriage to Liam. She informs Stephanie she won't give up on him.
Eric returns to Forrester, where Stephanie realizes he's been to see Jackie, but didn't find out who stole the designs. She tells him about tracking down Beverly. She says she wants to find the real thief and see them and Jackie put in jail.
Like A Rainbow.
In Pathways, Stephanie finishes speaking to Ricardo and begins a conversation with a single mom who aged out of foster care and was in jeopardy of losing her son. She had to stay in a homeless shelter, while he went into foster care. Stephanie is amazed at what she's gone through. She then speaks with a young man who was in foster care since he was six months old, and whose only wish was that his foster mother had lived long enough to see him realize his dreams. Stephanie next meets Cody, a surfer-type who wound up in the foster care system at age 15 because he was being severely abused. His dream is to not be alone during the holidays.
