In the Forrester guesthouse, Hope questions Liam about his night out. He admits he was with Steffy last night...and the night before. Liam says she was there for him as a friend. Hope tells him Steffy is not his friend, she's his ex-wife. Liam says he didn't want to be alone on his last night of freedom. Hope is angry that he thinks marrying her is losing his freedom. As Liam stammers, Brooke appears. Hope sends her out. Liam tries to explain his night out and makes matters worse by saying they woke up by the pool. Hope is furious. She lectures that he's totally inconsiderate - off partying while she worked to plan their wedding. "She ruined you." Liam says he'll fix this - he can wash the tattoo off. She screams, "It's not about the tattoo!" Hope decides he's more like Bill than he knew - he won't be able to settle down until later in life. Hope says he went out with Steffy when he knew how hurtful that would be to her - he's not ready to get married. She walks out.
Brooke returns to the mansion and tells Eric, Bill, and the others about Liam's appearance - he's a mess and they're arguing. Dayzee and Marcus think something's not right. Katie says 'something' probably has the name Steffy. Bill asks Thomas about Steffy - what does he know? Thomas admits she was clubbing with Liam. Hope walks in and rushes upstairs. Liam follows, shirtless. Everyone gapes as he hollers that he's not leaving until they're married.
Poached Salmon And Vichyssoise.
At Stephanie and Eric’s house, everyone gathers for the wedding. Hope is worried about Stephanie’s health but she assures Hope she went to the doctor and is fine. Stephanie encourages her to stop worrying and enjoy her day. Caroline and Thomas arrive along with Katie and Bill. Katie tells everyone that Bill has promised not to say anything nasty and he compliments Hope. He wonders where Liam is at. Pam fusses over details and Stephanie assures her she had done an outstanding job. Hope is relaxed and is glad she can just enjoy things. Meanwhile, Rick stares at Caroline and then asks her to help him write his toast - he is at a loss for words when he is around her. Thomas and Marcus and Dayzee talk about how they have not heard from Liam or Steffy. Bill insinuates that Rick likes Caroline. Thomas walks up and Rick tells him Hope and Liam are back on track.
Steffy drops Liam off at the guest house. They shake hands and she roars off. Hope runs outside and catches Liam as he tries to duck inside. He dodges her questions about where he was and tries to keep the helmet on to hide his look. She follows him inside and insists on a kiss. Before he shows her, he warns it's not permanent. He reveals the hair and tattoo. She is concerned – how did this happen? Has he been drinking? He admits he went out and went wild. He danced! Hope wants him to be completely honest – did he go out because he was mad at her? She explains how Stephanie was sick and he feels a bit guilty. He does not want her mad at him – he just felt stood up. He loves her and no one will notice him when they see her. She has one more question – was Steffy with him?
The Big Dilemma.
At the Forrester mansion, Hope reiterates to Stephanie that she is staying with her. She's sure Liam has a million things to do any way since it's the night before their wedding. Stephanie says Hope's driving her crazy just like Brooke, and assures her she'll be fine. Hope says that she'll go back to Brooke's house when Eric gets home. She talks to Stephanie about Steffy, and says another wedding will help her get past things. Stephanie says if it gives her peace of mind, so be it, but she's not sure she and Liam are ready for this. Stephanie warns that she and Liam have only hit tiny bumps in the road - she'd better prepare herself for much worse. Hope thinks Stephanie wants Liam to go back to Steffy. Stephanie says she wants them both to be happy - that's the big dilemma. Hope insists she'll marry Liam tomorrow. She wants Stephanie's blessing. Stephanie says it's just so apparent he has unresolved feelings and it's not healthy to begin a relationship that way. She asks what the rush is to get married. Hope thinks it's her way of rebelling - planning a traditional wedding is the most outrageous thing a Logan girl could do! They hug.
Last Night Of Freedom.
At the Forrester mansion, Hope tells Stephanie she wants an elegant wedding, and it has to be tomorrow. Stephanie says she'll do her best. Pam has more grandiose ideas, but Brooke sets her straight. A florist friend of Pam's arrives offering Asian orchids and kimonos for the bridal party. Hope and Brooke whisper about getting a new florist. Gustav, the caterer, arrives and sniffs about having the luncheon before the wedding. Brooke gets on the phone and then tells Hope that Aunt Donna can't come because she's out of town, but Aunt Katie's excited. Stephanie reappears and promises to keep Pam out of their hair tomorrow. Brooke says Ridge is designing a gown. Hope tells them that she and Liam are having dinner tonight and tomorrow they'll be married - nothing will get in the way this time. Hope and Stephanie discuss having a classic Forrester wedding. Stephanie says she's always loved her and what she stands for. Hope jokes she should give her away. They laugh and Stephanie has a coughing attack. Hope won't leave her.
Back at the Forrester mansion, Stephanie is perturbed with Hope for canceling on account of her cough. She tries to get her to go, but Hope refuses. Stephanie says she's just like her mother, who drove her crazy last year.
And So It Begins...
Hope, Brooke, and Ridge are at Eric and Stephanie's mansion. Hope tells them she and Liam would like to be married in their home. Stephanie says she has a problem with it. Eric points out that Steffy is still in love with Liam. Stephanie feels that Hope and Liam shouldn't get married while he has unresolved feelings for Steffy. Hope persists that she'd be so honored to be married there. Stephanie relents and Eric agrees. Hope hugs them and goes to call Liam.
At the Forrester mansion, Hope gushes about being the next Liam Spencer for now and forever. Stephanie hisses to Ridge that she can't support this marriage when Liam's still connected to Steffy. Ridge feels caught in the middle. Stephanie thinks Liam and Steffy love each other, but everyone keeps rallying to Hope's side. Hope and Brooke discuss Stephanie feeling torn and not inviting Steffy. Hope just wants to focus on Liam and being husband and wife.
A Free Man.
At Brooke and Ridge's place, Hope tells them that she and Liam had a good visit and they are planning another wedding that will be filled with good memories. Brooke warns that Liam is a Spencer - he may have issues with her walking out on him. Hope insists he understands that she's just staying there until the next wedding. Pam arrives with some paperwork for Ridge. Hope tells Brooke she's always wanted to be married at Eric and Stephanie's house. Brooke is resistant to the idea. Pam asks why they're planning another wedding and why she moved out. Ridge says their union's invalid in California. Hope says she didn't move out and they'll soon be together. Ridge tells Hope he'll help make the wedding happen at his parents' house. Hope wants it to be elegant, but notes Steffy isn't invited. Pam volunteers to be her wedding planner. Brooke worries about having it at Stephanie's, but Hope insists. "Nothing will ruin this wedding."
