WHIPPLE "WHIP" JONES III'S HISTORY
Whip worked as a promotions manager for years at Forrester Creations and claimed to be the father of Brooke’s baby so she wouldn’t have confess to an affair with her daughter’s husband, Deacon, who was the actual father. In exchange for keeping her secret, Whip demanded a raise, a house and a yacht from Brooke.
As time went on, Whip began to have feelings for Brooke, but she was still emotionally attached to Deacon. Whip offered to marry her in order to help her end her affair with her son-in-law.
After Whip and Brooke became hitched, Bridget discovered the truth about her mother and husband. Since the secret was out, Whip had his marriage annulled before Brooke could divorce him and then transferred to Forrester International.
Years later, Stephanie interviewed Whip for a PR position with Jackie M and after hiring him, revealed she also wanted him to help her keep Brooke and Ridge apart.
The plan didn't work, but Whip worked his magic creating successful and risque campaigns involving Jackie and Owen. He fell for Jackie but she remained committed to Owen.
Whip later met Taylor on a blind date after being matched up with her online. They dated, fell in love and married.
Whip is currently trying to keep his marriage healthy as Taylor repeatedly gets pulled toward Ridge due to issues with their children, Steffy and Thomas.

Whip finds Oliver in his studio and they discuss heartbreak. Oliver admits that Hope is still in love with Liam, but he thinks everything will change when Amber has her baby. Oliver thinks Hope will leave Liam once he becomes a father - and he'll make it easier for her. Oliver produces an engagement ring, and Pam comes in just in time to see it. Oliver says he knows he can make Hope happy. Pam gives him the keys to the cabin at Big Bear. Once Oliver is alone, Hope comes in all flustered. She tells him Amber is having the baby. He holds her. Oliver wants to take her away. She agrees.
Friday, June 10 2011: Now We Have To Live With The Consequences.
At Jackie M Owen fits Jackie with a dress for the collection. He says he'd like it to be much smaller. They flirt, then he kisses her. Whip joins them, then Nick asks if they knew Ridge and Brooke broke up. Whip says he'd still been hoping he and Taylor would get back together. He hopes Ridge doesn’t invite him to the wedding. Owen explains that Nick is still in love with Brooke. Whip comments that everyone is changing partners. Nick and Brooke stopped trying to make it work years ago and he has no expectations now.
