Quote tess7: I'm not at all surprised by this s/l. Now that there is a problem between Brooke and Ridge about, of course Mommy, she'll run to Nick for comfort and being the biological mother of the baby they bond while Taylors away and bingo Nick will once again be her destiny, regadsess of who it affects. This is getting old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is it that hard to believe that it has yet been proven to be true that Brooke is the biological mother/egg donor of the baby?
It shouldn't be.
There has NEVER been any DNA testing done between all the parties involved, including Taylor and the original egg donor, to prove conclusively [within 99.99999%] as to who the biological mother is.
Everyone [Nick, Taylor, Brooke, Bridget, Ridge and some viewers] are ASSUMING that it is Brooke who was the egg donor.
This conclusion reached is based on material that is highly questionable and suspect - from the source of the information, to the person who ran the test, to the hospital facility that ran the test [at the time of the bone marrow incident], to the one who delivered the news, and more.
The tests that were ran, by Dr. Bridget [Brooke's daughter], were not DNA tests, proving paternity/maternity matters conclusively.
She has been involved all along in a hospital mix - up, cover up, and now, she is to be regarded as an expert in the field of genetics and her word should be taken as if the gospel truth?
DNA testing is a highly expertise field, with tests involved taking weeks for results to come back [not minutes].
If Howard K Stern was proven to be 'compatible' with Anna Nicole's baby, should he have been awarded custody by the Bahamian authorities rather than having DNA testing done to prove conclusively as to who the biological father was?
The tests done by Bridget were blood compatibility tests.
Heck, if she ran her own blood she may have been a match - does that prove she, too, is the mother?
Strangers are compatible, which allows for strangers to donate blood to others and bone marrow transplants are done between non relatives/strangers.
The tests Bridget ran were completed in minutes and they could very well have been contaminated tests done due to how the material was handled [chain of command] and by whom, due to Carl being present at the time of testing, and due to others when entering the testing site while the tests were being done.
I believe all this 'bonding' being encouraged by Nick [if true] is going to come back to bite him and Brooke in the rear not too long in the future.
Brooke is going to want custody, legal parental rights allocated to her, or visitation - in other words, Brooke will go back on her word, she cannot be trusted.
True DNA testing will one day be ordered by the Court [no doubt there is going to be a custody battle] and it will be at this time proven that Brooke has no 'claim' to the baby - JMHO.
'Laying claim' to a child solely based on blood compatibility testing is no different, in my opinion, than a person laying claim to a child simply based on the color of his/her eyes, or hair.
Just because Bridget said Brooke was the biological mother doesn't make it true!
Her word should not be taken as if it was the gospel truth.
