Quote BrianRose: (Obviously, Steffy is a fictional character on a soap, but…) I find it hard to believe that any woman in LA who has the misfortune of having Steffy intrude in their relationship would applaud her for her honesty in announcing, at some point, that she wants their husband, fiancé or significant other because: She’s fallen in love with him They have loads of fun together and have more in common, and She’s what’s best for him and makes him happiest. Then she proceeds to pull out every trick in the book, from seduction to trash talking about the woman, to undermine her relationship because she goes after what she wants. Is this behavior to be revered because she eventually came clean about what she has been doing and what her intent is? I’m sure a lot of these women feel like they have men who would not fall for the bait like Bill and Liam. Are you serious? Have you not been watching this show from the beginning? Brooke went to almost every woman on the show and said the same words and now it's being questioned? The answer is YES it is. It was applauded when Brooke did it and it's applauded now. |

Yes, I am serious and I would appreciate it if you would stay on topic as this thread is NOT about Brooke. The topic is "Steffy's Forewarning: I have the Hots for Your Man." Thanks, |

Thanks, I think I stayed on topic by pointing out that Steffys behavior is typical for this show AND that she isn't the only one to display it. I also answered you question directly by saying YES it's applauded! What I don't understand is why the behavior is just NOW being questioned when it's lauded as destiny in others. I will further add that Liam is his OWN man and until he tells Steffy to stop she has every right to pursue him. |

I don't get it, if she had sneaked behind Hope's back you would have complained about that but she is at least up front. Hope was not married to Liam and according to Hope she isn't married to him now. To me once they are married it is hands off because I believe in marriage. Obviously, when Steffy was married she wasn't shown that respect so how or why would you be shocked that Steffy has no respect for Hope's fake wedding or wedding #4, 5 or 6, |

Well, actually you began by questioning the sincerity of the thread, and then you questioned how long I’ve been watching the show, and mostly went on to talk about Brooke. It’s just nice to not have Brooke’s name come up in topics when she’s not the topic of discussion. Behaviors of soap characters are constantly questioned going back to day one and forward; this is nothing new. I don’t understand why lots of posters start certain thread topics/posts, but I certainly don’t see it as my place to question them. But to answer your question, the idea just popped in my head. I do appreciate your response, though, of “YES, it’s applauded! |

Liam falls for the bait because he's still a little boy that needs his mommy steffy to tell him what to do. |

I f Steffy doing that is worse than the other woman showing up at the soon to be exwifes house in her freaken wedding dress demanding here sign these damn anullment papers I.ll eat my hat! Cause let the other woman have the gonads to show up at my home thats worse than over the top and I'd let her know it! Nothing and I mean nothing surprizes me after seeing that!! |

But ill say it again, if a woman has to pull stunts and scheme to make her own point, then it cant be good for Liam! |

Obviously, when Steffy was married she wasn't shown that respect so how or why would you be shocked that Steffy has no respect for Hope's fake wedding or wedding #4, 5 or 6, Thanks for your input, Brenna. I have to say that Steffy doesn’t wait for someone to do something to her; she’s always the one to throw the first punch. The engagement between Liam and Hope could have resulted in them being happily married by now, maybe not. We’ll never know because Steffy intruded in their relationship. Granted, Liam was a willing participant and her pawn, but Hope was in love and engaged to a man she wanted to marry. Steffy purposely set out to destroy their relationship. Whether she did it behind Hope’s back or announced to her that she was going to pursue Liam, it was wrong and it was devastating. Some people may not see a problem with this but I do, and I can understand a woman not having respect for the woman who was actually a party in sabotaging her engagement. |
